between ed and the orchid we need to make these rankings known nationally.

That's what I'm talkin' about.

Sometimes when you see brilliance, it's like staring directly into the face of God. Now is one of those times.
-
Offensively ksu is looking pretty damn good right now.

CHIRP was last year's ranking right? What has changed in the ORCHID besides it kicking CHIRP's ass?

CHIRP is less about deserving and more about the stats. It does not take losses into account when ranking, while ORCHID does. They both use two of the same inputs (effective offense/defense) , but ORCHID also uses losses. I can probably sum up as follows:
CHIRP is a better predictor of who should win (its a ranking of how dangerous a team is regardless of losses)
ORCHID is a better ranking of who has accomplished the most so far.
-
Is there any doubt the ORCHID and Chingon are the most brilliant respective things? Orchid is kicking the balls and ball sacks of other polls while Chignon (the guy who created it) is just the most badass guy to ever wear purple.

Do you say or-kid or or-chid

How does Notre Dame jump 4 spots in the ORCHID then since they don't have any losses?

Also, HTH is Florida State 5? :dubious:

It probably has a lot to do with 2 FCS teams screwing up the formula.

So we are looking at #2/5 KSU vs. #10/15 WVU in 2 weeks.
