Title: Florida/Mormons
Post by: Cire on March 18, 2010, 11:45:32 AM
flordia knocking down 3's over BYU's zone.

Florida playing crappy help defense and white guards are beating them for layups.

Neither team is impressive.

Curtis and Jamar and Dom could really dominate the boards and swat a lot of shots. Against either team.

My thoughts exactly.  Assuming we play our B+ game, we will beat either of these teams.

they both kinda remind me of Dayton/Xavier/UNLV.

BYU = pack it in and rebound = KSU kryptonite (I expect NT to do this as well).

I feel like our zone offense has improved dramatically over the course of the season.  Not too worried about teams sitting back in a 2-3.  We'll still get it inside, draw fouls, O-board, etc.

This.  100x better than early/mid way through the season.

If Jimmer even tried to drive inside like he's doing against the Gatorz, he would get swatted. I Just turned this game on at the start of the second half, and there is no way he pulls those shots off against our bigs.

yeah. i think it's time that they took the seeding decisions away from a bunch of rich, white, nerds sitting in a room trying to look at the "big board". bu has a much, much easier path.

Something concerns me about these frackers.

Can't quite pin point it.  I think it's the shooting of threes and free throws.

Remember after the Texas game last year when Denis said it felt like he was shooting into an ocean?

I have a feeling that on Saturday he is going to feel like he is shooting into an unfinished well.
