Charlie has this thing headed I'm the right direction.

You subtract all the turnovers and theyre right in this thing. #buildingamonster
:ohno:

Needs at least 5 more years to get his system implemented and start winning championships. Hope that short-sighted administration will keep him on long enough.

Man, they came out swinging though didn't they? Respect.
-
He was stuck with a bad QB. Once he gets his recruits in there, they're set.
-
Mental victory for KU...and the all time series record is still intact for so many more ass whippings. So proud!! :tsc:
meanwhile... :billdance: lesson on how to be destroyed by the only KS football team has ended.
 brain transplants are a reality soon

Weis on having to wait four hours to meet with LHC Bill Snyder back in the 1990's…
I was on an offensive lineman and Coach Parcells wanted me to check up on him and wanted me to go with Coach Snyder and get his feelings on the kid. I waited and waited and he finally came out and talked with me for about 30 seconds and that was the end of it.
Now you know why Chuck/Chaz

Fanning, figure it out.

dumb post by the OP.
KU
yards per play 4.79 (that is horrible)
points per play .19 (horrendous)
KSU
yards per play 9.3 (dominating)
points per play 1.1 (dominating)
The efficiency numbers were extremely lopsided at halftime as well. Charlie kept it close only on the scoreboard with some gimmicks and gambling in the first half but it was already clear if we simply stopped a few 3rd downs (although we did and they faked FGs, punts) it would be a blowout. And that is exactly what it turned out to be.
KU actually has a lot of veterans on the field. They will probably be worse next season.

SLTH (drops mike and walks out)

You know it's all going to end when :bill: leaves and Charlie will have that program humming like a finely tuned German engine.

Jfc, manhatter
-
Agreed, Cire. KU would be idiots not to extend his contract.
-
I hate to say this guys, but Snyds got clowned in the first half. GREAT hire by Zulu.
-
They're going to have a monster with Heaps in the backfield.
-
he had us on the ropes for 60-70% of the game. that's a fact, not an opinion.
-
you think someone gave him all those super bowl rings? lol no. he earned them. they smacked us in the face the first half. he just needs a couple more players.
-
Kansas literally threw the entire kitchen sink at us for 14 points.
KSU moved the ball up and down the field at will.
There is as much of a gap now as there was in 2002. And I think Mangino was a better coach than Weis.

Don't even mention that name! :runaway: I'd like to sleep tonight!

not you too panj. jfc.

Oh really? Because the score doesn't say so.

That puts Weis halfway to a top 10 team. In another 5 games, he should be there. EXTEND WEIS

That's what I'm saying!! We're lucky we played THE University of Kansas when we did.
-
That Pearson kid getting hurt was a big blow to them Shame really. 4 years and they won't be doing the trickery as much I'm sure.. :tsc: (ftp://:tsc:)

I agree with sys. It was a dogshit effort by ksu for most of the game. Getting clown suited t wice by fakeson one rough ridin' drive was embarassing, as was ku's ability to run on the defense in the first half. ISU's run game will punish us.
-
KU deserved the win. They outplayed and outcoached us. Give Weiss some better players and another year and its not gonna be pretty for Snyder and company.
-
Panj is absolutely right.
-
Vince Lombardi couldn't have won with that product on the field today. Turner left the cupboard COMPLETELY bare.
Weiss needs time.
-
We may have one thet battle, but we will not win the war. I mean, could you imagine if Wice had Diyll for another year?
-
For my part, I'm just thankful we scratched out a victory against that bunch of future NFL'ers. Eight or nine of 'em, per Tait 0 -- and if writes he it you can bank it.
-
100+ for Simms, he's a salty one.
-
Props to Beems. Everything he broke down in the off season was 100% accurate. You could see all those Super Bowl rings working in full force today you guise.
-
Just left the plaza, shook a lot of jayhawk hands and wished them well (except one dude clams and I stomped half to death in the alley by the faloon for wearing a ku hat) and the underlying sense I got was we got very lucky and if Weiss is given between 6-8 years the dominance will be in Lawrence.

ksu SHOULD have had a 0.96 point per play advantage. we played worse than our ranking indicates

Well, KSU did play down to KU's level. Of course, that timeout before halftime pissed me off. That costed us 6 plus XP point. Not to mention that taking a knee at the end of the game was also possible 3 or 6 plus XP point.
So we left off 14 points off the board during the whole game.
-
Man Beems could taste it early:
Hey rentmoney, how does that ass taste?
....
TD Jayhawks!!! 14-7 good guys.
....
Huge play at the end of the half to keep the score at 21-14. I like the way the team is playing today. Great game plan by Weis.
....
Not much after that. :dunno:
-
I will never forget high-fiving a ton of Baltimore fans wearing purple after beating the daylights out of that jayhawk fan. was fun.
-
Weis schemed the crap out of scheme doctor in the most competitive half of football this series has seen since mangino was there.
extend charlie ku or mizzou will come calling.
