Rod Gilmore is Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) trying to say that the 2nd injury should be a defenseless helmet-to-helmet hit.  That Hawaii guy had more time to see the BYU guy coming at him than any defender that's ever been hit by a pulling guard.  He took 3 steps where he could look at the guy coming right at him by barely turning his head.

That was helmet-to-helmet because the Hawaii player saw him coming and tried to get low to deliver a hit on the BYU player.  If you watched that hit with just those two players you would probably think the Hawaii player was on offense and throwing a block.
