Title: Dumb Thread: "Are we done with the Pease experiment?"
Post by: 420seriouscat69 on September 25, 2012, 10:30:39 PM
I've rewatched this game tonight and have fallen in love with Hubert ( over and over and over again). I know there's night and day between the two, but is Pease done, forever?

Hubert is a dream machine. But I think there is room in our offense for both hubes to roll 200 yds AND for pease to throw 4 or five amazing blocks.

I wish the fanning experiment could be done forever.  Boom roasted.

For all I know Pease is the fourth Heisman candidate on our team.  I'm sure he will be marvelous when we need him to be marvelous.

Bold prediction: Angelo Pease will throw a touchdown pass for the K-State Wildcats this year.
Most likely in the Texas game

That said,
#TeamHubert

#TeamHubert / #TeamDmac .... team one-two punch, Dmac has so much raw talent. He needs to get on the field.

Hubert will get the majority of the carries the rest of the year. The only way I see anyone else getting significant playing time is an injury.

Who was it running with the third string in the Miami game? DRob or Rose.
Title: Re: Dumb Thread: "Are we done with the Pease experiment?"
Post by: Mixed-Nutz on September 26, 2012, 10:54:00 PM
Rose went second and DRob went third. Drob and Sam combo wouldn't be fair.

So DRob is fourth string? Lol wow. Alot of folks say he is btter than the rb at ok state from wichita as a pure rusher...but that's just from watching them in hs its a shame that we can't specialize with players like this and say "hey we know you aren't a good blocker so we are going to give you the rock like six times a game and maybe make you block like once...sound good? Ok hands in go cats!"

Pease was good in space. Can't read blocks between the tackles. He's avging 6 ypc. Should be our 3rd string QB. Sams and Pease running the speed option would be mean to tv camera people.

He is and Chris is the 4th string and Tuggle the 5th. Ryan Doerr is after that. The guy who knows the playbook really well will take snaps only if those guys and Zimmerman (7th) are completely incapacitated.

Just imagine how good K-State would be if they had the Big 12's best running back, James Sims.

I think the biggest question with Sims might be team chemistry.  Otherwise, would take.

It depends on how good of a blocker Sims is, really. That's very important in the QB run game.
