@WVU and vs OSU.  IMO we won't be able to stop those spread teams. Lucky for us Landry Jones blows.

UT is the only team left on the schedule who will be able to slow down the Cat offense.  Luckily, they have to come to Manhattan.  WVU will put up some points but the Cats will murder their front seven, and I would bet that WVU has more turnovers in that game than K-State does.

In terms of excruciating pain potential, it's the CTR and it's not close. Since about the OSU game last year, this year has always been about a NC for me. After Saturday, anything is a KITN if we lose, but I was a freshman in HS in 1998. Old enough to know know the historical weight of what was happening, young enough not to remember pre-LHCBS football and be content with 11-win seasons. Also, my birthday is December 5. When Parker fake-scored, I tore my Starter replica Bishop jersey off and bawled like a 15-year-old baby over my melting ice cream cake. If we're undefeated going into Dec. 1 and...I can't go through that again, guys, I just can't.

Not as scared of TCU as some of you guys. They're a solid team but missing a lot of players that were/would be starters. Pretty sure they don't have enough fans to fill their stadium anyway, so who really cares if its a road game. Not saying the Cats are gonna roll in and blow them out, but I think they're closer to Tech/OSU in scariness, and below Texas and possibly ISU (probably just scared because of how much of a KITN losing that game would be, rather than how good they are).

KU
Baylor ---}
Tech  ---}
OSU   ---}  Pretty similar level of scared for all of these teams tbh. Should be favored in all of them, all capable of winning if we have a not so good game
TCU   ---}
ISU    ---}
Texas
WVU

I feel that every game we play the rest of the season (except KU and maybe Baylor) is going to be undecided going into the 4Q, so they'll all be edge of your seat, nervous games for me. I'd say the ones i'm most scared of are WVU and UT. WVU gets the slight nod because they actually have a good QB.

Right now I am most scared about ISU since that is the next game that we could lose.  I dont want anything to do with a Paul Rhodes proud speach.  :ohno:

Full season scary factor
1. TX (their superbowl, they have that thanksgiving TCU game which will be fun to watch and we have a bye, favors the scheme doctor)
2. WVU (weak D but Geno and Tavon could and likely will roast our secondary, their O-line struggled against Maryland so i would expect some good pressure. Will likely be road night game which is tough and hopefully a top ten matchup, we will know a bunch more about this team after they go to DKR)
3. ISU (Their upset magic and ability to play us close is no fun, Ames has the ability to get hostile, hopefully its a 11am game)
4. TCU (lots of purple which will look sweet in the stadium, i expect a bunch of Cat fans to be at the game so the homefield advantage shouldnt be too big.  They will be coming off a WVU road trip which is to our advantage)
5. Tech (right after WVU road trip, potential to be tired and/or over confident)
6. OSU (second home game in a row, TCU next so not overlooking, payback game will be hungry for it)
7. Baylor (no more RG3, should run all over them)
8. KU (LOL)

TX game this year could be exactly like last year imo. Very boring to an objective 3rd party viewer. Low-scoring, lots of field position battles. Getting TD's vs FG's will be the key.

Lets list the games in order from toughest to easiest.

1. WV no brainer
2. Texas - great D, maybe found a QB finally
3. TCU - O doesn't look as good but D looks good
4. OSU - O looks good, D sucks
5-8. TT, ISU, Baylor you can throw in a hat and pull them out.
9. Bye - these guys are undefeated every year.
10. Scout team every week
11. KU... almost forgot they supposedly have a football program.  So far they have lost to a side dish and a directional school.  We will spend 1 day max scheming them.  Over by halftime

If there's a team that would win based on desire to kick us in the nuts, it would be UT.  We've pissed in their punchbowl many, many times--it's not just the overall W-L record, but we cost them a BCS bowl in 2003.  Yeah, they'd want this one bad.

1. Texas (clearly the best team in the B12 besides us)
2. ISU (they mumped up Oklahoma State's shot at a MNC, Rhodes sees us as a Superbowl)
3. WVU (can't move to top 2 until I see them destroy a B12 team, mediocre vs a bad Maryland)
4. Baylor (not a great team, but good offense)
5. TCU (was not impressed by them vs ku)
6. OSU (not very good this year)

What is a blowout?  I think there is a pretty good chance that we can beat one or more of the softer defensive teams by 20 or more.  WVU, Baylor and teams like OSU will score points but have little hope of slowing down the Cats.

Scariest to least scary:

1. OSU - Gundy owns us and we are going to have a lot of trouble stopping them.

2. Texas - Easily the best team left on the schedule.

3. Tech - They are a lot better that people are giving them credit for.

4. @ISU - Road game against a team that has played us close for the last few years.

5. @TCU - Not very scary, but they are a decent team.

6. @ WVU - They look pretty crappy, but they are at home, and I'm sure their fans will be pumped coming off back to back road losses.

7. @ Baylor - They just aren't very good this year. Not scared at all.

8. KU - free win

What would be the biggest KITN?

4-0, home vs KU
5-0, away vs ISU
6-0, away vs WVU
7-0, home vs TTU
8-0, home vs OSU
9-0, away vs TCU
10-0, away vs Baylor
11-0, home vs UT

There's no wrong answer here guys. Which loss would hurt the most? I am going to say sitting at 10-0 going to Waco with Texas looming would be the most painful personally to sit on for 2 weeks during thanksgiving.

Getting our first loss at home, in December on senior night, to a Texas team that we always beat when there isn't really any type of championship on the line, would be by far the most painful. It would be even worse than losing the CCG in '98.

OSU - Missing Weeden/Blackmon
TCU - Drug mess set them back
Baylor - Offense still looks good
Texas - Much improved from last year
ISU - Paul Rhoads Speech  :ohno:
WVU - big home field advantage
