I thought for sure wetzels inspirational story about dabo and taking his mother to college with him would propel them to victory.

Outdone by Rinaldi's story about Jimbo's 5-year-old son & his rare disease that will probably kill him before he is 30.

Do we currently have anybody on the squad that would be willing to play this role in Venzy's defense?

That is completely insane. Also insane is that Venzy's defense shut out Ohio rough ridin' State. I want him.

God I hate Rinaldi.  Guy takes stories that are solid 7s, over produces them trying to make them 10s, and makes them unwatchable.  The guy could be given a story about someone spraining an ankle tripping over a curb and he'd try to make it sound like the guy lost a limb storming Normandy.

He's the reason I stopped watching Gameday.  I stopped actively watching it, but I'd usually have it on in the background.  Then the brought on Rinaldi and I'd change the channel when he started talking and never flipped back.  After a few times I just stopped turning it on at all.

Do we think there is a still a chance Snyder retires this year, or would he have done it already?

He's 77.  Every day could be the one he retires or gets retired.  The football calendar is irrelevant.

iirc, if you make it to 77 as a man, you have a 4.4% chance of dying and a life expectancy of abt 9.5 years. liking those numbers guys! go cats.

Also, I'm pretty sure that compared to most American males his age, Snyder is in pretty damn good physical shape, and has some high quality health care.  Thus, those numbers mid get improved just a bit.
