Does anyone ever feel bad for Harp? He's my favorite receiver and it seems TT and Baby Lockett (I always forget his first name because I just call him Baby Lockett) get more touches
I just wanted him to get his 20k and it doesn't appear that is going to happen. I'm still holding out hope though!
Baby is the future
TT is a gamebreaker
CHarp has my heart.
-
Also that pass to Braden was my favorite of the game.
The next one I want to believe was going to be a flea flicker. Probably not though.
-
And HCBS blamed Harper for the interception.I guess he could of probably broke it up but to throw him under the bus like that. But who am I to question the Scheme Doctors motivational techniques.
-
Harper and Tremaine both had 5 catches yesterday, Lockett had 1. Also, Harper should have had more catches but he isnt really good at catching balls.
-
The journey to 20,000 is just one yard at a time.
-
I have felt the same way about CHarp. It sometimes looks like CK tries to force the ball to him. I would just love to see him the get the ball more in space. That move he put on the coner last night down near the SW corner, and then easily picked up like 12 more yards
Reminds me of Frank Murphy. So much raw athleticism, but just doesn't seem to get enough touches.
-
He really sucks at establishing distance between him and his coverage.
I think he thinks that if he just runs his routes CK can throw the ball his way and he win out with his 'superior' athleticism. But that's just my thought on his thoughts which are just thoughts.
-
CK over or under threw Chris multiple times. Was pretty pissed. Also, that rough ridin' INT was a shitty pass. eff LHC Bill Snyder for saying that.
-
I'm just saying, I already loved him so much, then he was at fattyfest and it made me love him more. He came back to us, let's show him love. Bill! :shakesfist:

I still have hope that Klein/Harper 2012 will bring about a season of change in the land
-
Klein to Harper is the most money combo in clutch time. Texas, EKY, TTU, and TAMU last year.
-
Tramaine has been our best receiver for three seasons now. Goddamn you idiots for failing to notice/accept that. We also snaked him from ou, which happens never.

Oh, excuse me for paying attention to our players' classes and who we have longer etc.
-
It's be nice to run some screens for Harper and let him bulldoze people in short yardage scenarios.
-
It would be nice to see him involved more, but I agree with the poster that said Klein at times seems to force the ball at him. The interception seemed to be a really forced ball and it looked like the inside receiver (Thompson or Lockett) was much more open than he was.
But Harper continues to be a great blocking wide receiver. He absolutely destroys corners and safeties often adding 10+ yards to plays.
-
plus, after he destroys his guy, he talks a ton of crap. he's BITB at crap talking the other team.
-
hahahahah I know SD. That's why I love him so hard. I just want him to get his due. I hope he enjoys Manhattan.
-
slam dunk draft pick you guys
-
I love this team so much. I love watching them celebrate. I love when the lineman celebrate the td before it's even official because they know they kick so much ass that if they beat the piss out of a guy into the endzone they know CK is there as well. I love this team.
-
slam dunk draft pick you guys
Keep your sarcasm elsewhere.
-
I keep waiting for a major breakout game with 7-8 receptions, 150-200 yards, and a couple of TD's. I realize that is not the style of offense Bill runs, but Harper looks so damn beautiful out there and I just want great things for him.
-
We all want it dobber. We all do.
-
I agree with the Harper needs more seperation talking point. Its also the reason that people were thinking he's not as fast as he is. Must be his route running :dunno: Seems much more effective in the intermediate passing game but then again, Klein's deep attempts to him have been shitty throws too.
