guys, first time since '03 that Snyder has multiple NFL dudes on the OL. Lucas, Whitehair, and Finney are locks. Rooks certainly has the feet and ability but not the frame.
This OL has an awesome capability over the next 2 years and when talking about the interior OL specifically, 3 years.
Can't wait to get Stiverson back because he is alleged to be the mauler of this bunch.
Klein and the boys behind this line are going to prison f_ck some defenses.

Our Line is incredible
-
I like the depth that we're building on the interior. Whitehair will eventually move to tackle...but Stiverson, Epps, and Finney will be staples for our interior for the next few years...thus enabling #Life to Prison eff defenses in the future. Even Mariner and the preferred walk on Will Ash look like people who could add some contribute at some point if needed.

Whitehair started at tackle, but moved to LG when Puetz went down.

'hatter loving the o-line. we are back.
-
whole lotta prison rape comments being made lately
-
Whitehair should remain at guard. He was playing OT because Foketi left, Clement has not showed, and Rooks was maybe thought to not be quite ready...enough.
But Whitehair is a more natural left guard. He just is a VERY good athlete so he is capable of playing RT if need be.
If there is one unit/position group that is getting back to, or even starting to exceed, Snyder teams of the '90s and early '00s it is the OL. Just need to go out and 'cruit/develop more tackles.
-
We'll see how good they are when we play bama in january.
-
I hate to think about what could have been but I wish we could have got Simon Goines. He impressed me last night during UCLA's peckerwhacking of the Nubbies. How incredible of a line would we have had for 3-4 years there? With that said, I'm perfectly fine with how Finney and Whitehair have done and have heard the same of Stiverson and Epps!
-
I think we're gonna see Whitehair in the future being moved to different positions along the line (mostly tackle)...for the sole purpose of allowing us to keep the best 5 linemen on the field every possession. I was really impressed with everyone that played on the line this weekend, and it will be difficult to get everyone their deserved playing time once Peutz and Stiverson are healthy for the remainder of the season...but it's a really nice problem to have though.
-
Any chance Peutz and/or Stiverson are back for OU?

Elite insider Winters told me that Puetz was seen in class with "weird ass looking crutches and putting no pressure on one of his legs" so I would doubt it

It's disgusting to think about how good this unit will be next year, and what that means for someone as athletic as Sams, who will bring back pretty much all of his best rushers and all elite receivers not named Chris Harper.
Clement is just going to redshirt or something, right? He'll be eligible in the spring?

I feel like Clement will be lucky to see the field next year imho....

The better our line is, the more MBP posts.

This lol. Hope you post a zillion times the next few years, MBP

Is Finney okay? Seemed gimpy a few times on Saturday.

Gonna have to also say that Charlie Dickey (O-Line coach) was definitely a steal from Utah. He was there when the Utes had these same kind of dominating offensive lines.
