Family is currently with Sprint and I'm sick of them. 99% sure we're going verizon when the fall lineup comes out. How well is verizon's infrastructure set to handle heave load during game day? Also if anyone has any specific experience with data cards that would be a big help.
Sprint has decent signal but the latency is just so awful it keeps anything useful from loading, especially any kind of gamecast or espn3 utilities. I know its kinda tuckish of a question, but I figured there will be enough people here who actually use their smartphones or laptops at the games/tailgating.

excellent. I had 4G LTE reception and was able to stream video

what were you rocking for streaming? Tablet, android device, hotspot?

sucks on regular 3G, I couldn't get anything to load. but my buddy has a 4G phone and it worked fine.

Do you in Manhattan or NE KS? How is the 3G otherwise during non-peak service?
We've been on Sprint for a long time and I don't want to jump into a 2 year contract with the same issues as Sprint (shitty slow service, shitty devices).

sprint has the best device line up on the market.

Perhaps a goEMAW grassroots campaign to get Wi-Fi installed in the stadium?

should do some paid gogo inflight type thing and then us travel blog and message board readers pass around free gogo inflight passcodes to our bros and we all party and win by 21+

they have been doing better. I'm still bitter about them stabbing palm in the back and helping to seal the fate of the best mobile OS.

3g is fine during normal days, i haven't had any problems. verizon is very aggresively getting people to switch to 4g phones though, so i don't see why you wouldn't get a 4g when you switched carriers.

I live in KC but haven't had issues around Manhattan when I visit, and my parents live in the middle of nowhere on a farm 40 minutes from Manhattan and it works fine there too.
