Students today informed me of free KU tickets at the register in Walgreen's here in Topeka.

I'm glad KU is expanding their marketing.  Their freebie outlets of Taco John's and Price Chopper weren't really being marketed to a KU type of crowd.  Them Potato Ole's are just a bit too upscale for most bird fans.

Were they at the 10th & Topeka location?  I seen lots of KU type fans frequent that store.  :sdeek:

Taco John's rules, I could live on potato ole's and taco sauce.

Wouldn't be caught dead in walgreens unless I needed a scrip or had to take a crap (they have clean restrooms)

The good: Kansas (7) had a year-over-year jump of 6,600 fans for the debut of Charlie Weis against South Dakota State, though it still was 3,700 short of filling its 50,007-seat stadium.
