Like that time our school board went all crazy against evolution! Actually Missouri will really have to step up it's game if it wants to look as backwards and rednecky as we do on a national level.

Still, Democratic leaders called on Gauthier to withdraw from the race. House Minority Leader Paul Thissen, D-Minneapolis, said he was "deeply disappointed" in Gauthier's conduct and wants him to step aside.

"As I shared with Rep. Gauthier, I believe he should withdraw from the race for re-election," Thissen said in a statement released by his office.

Less than an hour later, state Democratic Party Chairman Ken Martin echoed Thissen's comments, although neither man asked Gauthier to leave office before his term ends in January.

"His actions are inexcusable," Martin said. "No one in our party condones what he did, nor will we defend him in this matter."

That's fine, but I think you'd be hard pressed to say that the state rep was really in a position of authority over the 17yo who responded to the Craigslist ad.  Not like it was his teacher or boss.

Found this lil nugget on the interwebs today...

Quote
In implying 'Legitimate Rape' Missouri Republican Candidate Todd Akin was probably also implying that there exists 'Illegitimate Rape." I will try to explain what he MAY have meant:

1)Legimate Rape: A woman is caught of guard by a male attacker looking to have intercouse with her against her will. PERHAPS when this happens a woman's hormones kick in, contracting the philopian tubes making it harder for the male ejaculate - semen - to reach the uterus and implant the egg. Further, PERHAPS what Rep Akin meant is that these hormones prevent the sperm located in the perpetrator's semen from implanting the egg.

2)Illegitimate Rape: A woman is somewhat romantically involved with a male in a private situation and her sexual organs are somewhat aroused, including moistening, relaxation and dilation of the vaginal cavity AND dilation (opening up) of the filopian tubes, with hormones being relased preparing the egg within the uterus for implantatio
n by the male sperm in his ejaculate. The woman MAY and in PERHAPS MOST cases does not realize the male drive to 'Finish' the mission; subsequently the male forces the woman's clothes off to expose her to complete penetration, and the ensuing ejaculate from the male finds its way to the uterus and implants the egg, thereby completing conception.

Another thought to take away from this is the Left's and RINO cowards attack and/or silence upon Presidential Candidate Michele Bachmann's statement that the rise of breast cancer cases is closely linked with abortion and the frequency with which a woman has had an abortion. I had heard something similar to that and in this age where everyone wants NATURAL, it's odd that people would be surprised that the PREMATURE, UNNATURAL destruction of an unborn baby and in the csse of homosexuality, tthat he mixture of semen, blood, feces and STD's shared among hundreds if not thoursands of male homosexuals would lead to cancer and other diseases such as AIDS. In the case of homosexuality, I believe IF I'm not mistaken that semen has a Ph below 7, meaning it's acidic and would kill micropathogens in the semen; however when mixed with hundreds of other men's blood, feces and inherent STD's it is no surprise to me that a Super STD such as HIV/AIDS could adapt to that environment over time and create a drug-resistant STD such as HIV/AIDS. We're seeing this in new drug-resistant cases of Syphillis and gonorrhea among heteosexual (man-woman) 'PLAYERS.' Why would the addition of blood and feces among hundreds if not thousands of co-male sex partners not create a Superpathogen such as HIV/AIDS. I predict that even if a cure for HIV/AIDS is found one MUCH worse will develop and flourish..."God gives them up to their desires and they receive the penalty for which they are due." God wins in the end, all the time.
