So, per paulites and right wingers Ryan is a RINO and the same as B.O. Per B.O. and the msm Ryan is a right winged ideologue. Per the right wing GWB was fiscally liberal. Per B.O. and the left Ryan is fiscally draconian and the same as GWB. Per conservative radio, Ryan is a true conservative hero.
What's going on here? Who should I believe?
-
pro tip: they're all right
-
Obama is Bush, Bush is Obama. . . Obama is Bush?!?!?
[10 minutes of puking and trying to wash the filth off his body]

Does this mean conservatives are more intelligent and/or honest since they're willing to call out Repubs, while liberals stand fast and ignorantly deny and/or dismiss democrat faults?

Yes, that's clearly the most intelligent conclusion.

Per conservative radio has a republican/conservative position ever been incorrect?

They're pretty hard on W and the neocon RINOs, which are the same as B.O. while simultaneously being his polar opposite.
-
Who?
I only ask because it seemed like most of t am dial felt he was a pretty great president.

:opcat:
just because one is black and the other is white doesn't make them polar opposites

I made this thread for you Pike, and this is how you treat me? Smh
-
Bush and Obama have been strikingly similar.
Is this why conservatives are starting to turn on W?

Same reason liberals are turning on B.O.? Naw, too intellectually dishonest?

It's the reason I have cooled on him.
My problem is I really believe that policies of Romney/Paul are not in the interest of most Americans.

Which ones and why? Based on conjecture/conspiracy or on their face?
Since we currently have no coherent policy on anything, how is that better?

I think the policy has been clear for the last 11 years. Massive tax cuts for the top 20% and the middle class broke as a joke.
Just like you wanted it...
and since the working class are getting seriously humped at every turn by the private sector, they then turn to govt. programs as a last ditch effort to keep their homes, their health, and to feed their kids. Yet, you point to some ficitious welfare queen who sits on her ass and doesn't work, which, and you know deep down, is a tiny percentage of people who suffer through govt. assistance. You make it sound like poor people are living the good life on $400/month. You tea-billy turds make me sick.

"Massive tax cuts?" For the rich?
Pro Tip, taxing rich people more doesn't make the middle class richer, it provides more money to redistribute to the elitist crony pricks you hate who inhibit upward mobility among the so-called 99%. Your solution is in fact the problem.

So you acknowledge that the top 20% are taxed at a lower rate than any time in the last 50 years? yes or no.
and do you acknowlege that a 33% tax rate is the lowest rate for the middle class in the last 30 years....
so, if the answer isn't to tax less and less...and we've been doing that for the last 10 years....then how little is too little for your average tea-partier? 0%? Wouldn't that be great. You pay nothing. Govt has nothing...yet you still get to have clean streets, food, education, war........
Is the answer to spend so little money that the middle class get h u m p e d even worse by a contracting private sector that has proven it could give two craps about who turns the knobs?
-
Conjecture at this point.
Fundamentally I think it it is difficult to represent a group you cannot relate to.
Secondly couple this with a tea party base I think pell grants and other educational opportunities/funding could be affected. A situation that disproportionately affects the middle and lower classes.
As an aside how does the party that nominated the former party boy, Everyman, reborn Christian, guy you can have a beer with to a elitist, dressage loving, Mormon, who you most assuredly cannot have a drink with. Just seems like a cosmic shift.

Read the chart and look at the graphs.
The middle class aren't eligible for federal benefits and federal spending is virtually infinite(until it isn't) so you have no point.

The last 2 sentences refer to Dems or Repubs?
Whats weird to me is how the dems have evolved into the fear mongering party they purported to loathe post 9/11. Such is incumbancy I suppose.
-
It's refreshing that republicans have steadfastly clung to fear mongering.
-
It's refreshing that republicans have steadfastly clung to fear mongering.
It's been prevalent in politics forever, the dems were just the first to characterize and criticize it. As is tradition, whenever the dems are complaining about something they are invariably doing the exact same thing.
As of today the repubs seem to be the optimists, relatively speaking of course.
-
I mean except for the ultimate damnation that will reign upon us as the socialist agenda destroys our economy and the vary fabric of American life
Unless rr is elected of course
-
Ignoring the fiscal nightmare is far more dangerous than addressing it. Assaulting the one addressing the problem and lying about their policy for political gain is the greatest disservice possible to any class of citizen, primarily the low/middle class.

Guys,
Ryan isn't running for president and stuff.
