1. Scrabble
2. Monopoly
Don't like playing scrabble online as much because it takes the "challenge" element out which is the best part of the game.

I like Risk. Gotta play it online now though, takes too long in person.
-
Axis and Allies. Similar to Saul with Moustrap, I actually liked playing with the pieces more than playing the game. But both are fun.

LOVED Civ 3, but Civ 4 seemed awkward so I didn't play it. Haven't played it since. Worth getting back into it?

I am down for some Civ multiplayer. I think my computer that had it has crapped out though, would have to check on that. 4 was the most recent, no? 5 is supposed to be coming soon

5 is out. There is already an expansion for 5 that adds a bunch of stuff.

I used to LOVE Age of Empires...
Until someone showed me the light and I fell in love with Civilization.

Would you advise against downloading the game versus going to the store and buying the CD? Also, odds on it working on a decent laptop?

I would recommend signing up for a STEAM account and buying the game through there. http://www.steampowered.com
It should work I think, its graphic options scale pretty well.

Then I do have V. Pete and I will play and both be against you. It will not work and you will win, but will make the game last longer
