Title: How often do you ask yourself why you do something?
Post by: PoetWarrior on July 29, 2012, 04:52:36 PM
For example, why read a message board full of comments, by people whom you do not agree with, speaking of things that you care nothing about?

Do our football players question their desire to participate and compete? Do they wonder if there may be a better course for their lives? Even the talented ones, the ones who succeed, perhaps they may serve better elsewhere? When do we know that it is time to move on? When can we be sure about a permanent shift in focus?

We are not blameless. We are flawed and finite. But we can do better. We must try.

I'm not flawed, but otherwise nice thoughts.

we are ksu cat fans, we may be flawed but our desire to follow the path of righteousness is pure.

Israel, Moses, David, Jesus. All underdogs.

Gotta be something redemptive in hoping against hope for the underdog cats.

If you were talking about the Tre Walker fishing pictures, I think mostly people were very much admiring his fishing.  That full stringer of Crappie was impressive.

I never question the integrity of the guy in charge while my soul is getting free room and board.

If, after 4 years of eligibility, they decide they are meant for something else, then by all means go out into the world and be awesomer.  We expect nothing less (not that it should matter).

PW, all your cleaver words and witty sayings won't bring Ian Seau or Sam Harvill back.  who cares, they're both white; so why ask why.  :opcat:

This thread is about how uninteresting, uninformative and deflating this board is. (That is a factual statement, meant to inform, not offend.)

It is meant to evoke change in the reader. A reader who is not particularly intelligent, but should have the capacity for understanding.

It is meant to challenge the reader, so that they may think for themselves and bleed any individualism and originality that may have burrowed itself deep within.

It is not my duty to lead, but to guide. Goodbye.

I don't think this board is deflating at all.  In fact, it's pretty optimistic.
