I mean for christ sakes how much heat can one man take?
-
No. I would like it to cool off some but winter sucks ass.
-
ugh, winter? no thanks.
even with today's heat, i went outside and hungout in old stadium and caught some rays.
-
Every morning when I go in my closet to pick out my work attire I look at my lonely hoodies and that amazing pea coat and scarf and shed a tear.
-
nope. My tan is elite.
-
Yes
-
Hey Dlew, want to go hangout in the 20 degree weather? Shoot some hoops or something, take in the sun, maybe enjoy some suds on RABs secret patio?
What? No. Get lost.
-
"Hey fanning, go warm up the car so we can head to Manhattan for the game". Woof, No thank you!
-
hey Cireksu, want to go shovel the driveway and clean all of the sandwater that came off of your shoes and tires?
-nope
-
Is there anything worse than walking to class in the winter? No. Nothing. You put on like 5 layers of clothes, freeze your ass off, try to do some kind of walk sideways/backwards thing to shield your nose from falling off (doesn't work) and when you get to class, you have to ditch the coat, the hat, the gloves, the sweatshirt - what turns out to be about a week's worth of laundry on the floor - because they don't know how to regulate the heat in the bottom of Eisenhower hall. So miserable.
Summer? You're like, "man, it's hot as hell...we should go to the pool later."

and your shoes squeek/crunch on the floor

And maybe your room is terribly insulated so it gets down to <50 degrees at night so you think about investing in an electric blanket and one night you maybe get a bit too pak'd and wake up to this abomination on your leg:

AND THEN IT GETS INFECTED:
AND THEN IT SCARS OVER, LEAVING YOU AS SOME RUINED, WRETCH FOREVER:

WINTER DID THIS TO ME AND I'LL HAVE MY REVENGE!

Take that crap to rooks harm themselves thread or the #fanningstuff thread. :dubious:

NOT SO ADORABLE NOW, AM I FANNING?
-

No

miss winter? oh man. more like mrs winter the scary old lady that has moles and beats you with her cane. no thanks here guys.
-
winter is great. spring and fall are nice too. summer used to be nice, when i lived at 8500 feet. it's not nice anymore.
-
I used to look forward to winter. I'm not so sure about that anymore.
-
just who the hell lives in a place like Kansas and lives for the winter is what I want to know. someone who has the winters off work is my guess. no one else.
-
JFC. I had to wear a jacket until last week. I'd kill for some miserably hot weather.
-
Yeah, I like how everyone romanticizes jackets like they're some kind of love child between apple pie and baseball. Jackets can take a hike for all i care.
:flush:

Yeah. I think my face will probably fall off or something when I fly back to the us in December.
-
This global warming is for the birds though you guys. I miss normal 90 degree summer.
-
i like spring and fall.
-
Hoodie weather is my favorite.
-
i like spring and fall.
oh wow. weird. I just talked to someone who also likes fall and spring best. what a freak coincidence.
-
I'm looking forward to putting on my winterwear garage sale.

i think we may know the same person.

#teamwinter
When is this global warming going to lead to a huge snowstorm like in The Day After Tomorrow? I'm ready for that
-
Guys, I just realized something.
Powercatmiller is from the southern hemisphere and what he calls winter, we call summer.
Rolling here at the office.
-
Hoodie weather is my favorite.
Absolutely.Fall morning and nights? WILL TAKE!
-
If I could wear a light fleece and jeans every day of my life I think I'd be ok.

Kansas weather: we have to get the absolute sh*t of both summer and winter compared to every other place in the country (maybe the world :sdeek:)
what other place has over 20 days of over 100 in the summer, but will also have 20 days of under 30? (rough estimates, too lazy for research but seems right)
I will work on research today and get back but think about it

Initially I'd agree but 20 days of over 100 in the summer seems a bit high. This is the hottest summer we've had in a long time...
-
you guys are talking to captain back sweat right here and i still love the crap out of summer

Yeah, all the way back to last year.

I looked at Manhattan weather as a reference .We have an average Summer temperature high of 90 degrees and an average Winter temperature high of 43 degrees. That's a 47 degree difference! :runaway:
re: weather.com
BTW, Summer was June, July, August and Winter was December, January, February
What cities shall we compare?
-
there's already a thread for this called "white mid-westerners"
-
Fast forward to 6 moths from now and somebody will be starting a thread bitching about cold weather. Here's the deal: summer is hot, winter is cold. BFD. Given a choice I would rather sweat my balls off rather than freeze my balls off.

-
Think of all the people that bought snow blowers and ice fishing gear for last winter and they got screwed. Think of them.
-
Summer's the worst. Bottom of the list. Even if there were six seasons it would still come in last.
1) Fall
2) Spring
3) Winter
4)
5)
6) Summer
-
You people make me sick.
-
Summer is great. When I step out of the office and the blazing sun tickles my skin it is as refreshing as a tropical waterfall.
-
I'm excited to bust out my new Seton Hall hoodies that I bought when I was blackout drunk a few weeks ago. Yep, Seton Hall. :blank:
-
WTF is winter?
San Diego's weather is boring. 76 degrees with no humidity almost every day. Nights can get a little chilly; we sometimes dip into the high 40's at night during those 'winter' months you guy talk about.

besides the getting a few months off from school thing, i've never been a fan of summer. start sweating every time i walk outside? no thank you. think of all the modern (and not so modern) technologies that keep us comfortable during the winter! heating, fireplaces, gloves/scarves/stocking caps/snow boots, hot hands. you can enjoy the beautiful snow & wintertime landscape while feeling comfortable & toasty.

Other than the earthquakes and other freaky california type stuff, is there a better weather place on earth? Meditteranean possibly?

Yeah, I was often subject to alcohol-induced fugue states, aka walking blackouts. I would basically turn into a man-baby and wreck stuff (not in a mean way, just didn't know any better at the time), eat whatever food I could get my hands on regardless of ownership, be very cranky and unreasonable, and on choice occasions cry inexplicably. The alcohol could shut my mind down, but my body would go on functioning governed by some base/primal consciousness. Waking up the next day was always a very bad feeling. I dreaded hearing the "Oh, man do you remember what you did last night" convo starter. No, no I do not remember. :ohno:

i lived in valencia, spain, for five months (january through may). right on the mediterranean. when it would get down into the 50s in march or something i'd be all indignant and entitled like 'i can't believe i have to wear a jacket and jeans today'. those spaniards are so spoiled.

But I thought you loved wearing jackets. Truth comes out: even people who pretend to love cold weather hate cold weather.

i usually like cold weather. spain had brainwashed me and i became too acclimated to the warm weather. it was spain's fault, not mine.

Where can I move that its between 40 and 60 at all times? Cause that would be perfect.
Maybe an occasional blazer at 70 degrees.
eff summer.

Prague, that pretty much describes the 6 months I was there. Don't think the next 6 months would take a different pattern, could be wrong.

Then you have to live in a country with an assbackwards language impossible to learn.

Cannot speak intelligently on those places outside the US since I have only done traveling in the Med, but as far as INCONUS, Souther California cannot be beat. I've lived everywhere from WA to KS to RI to VA to GA to CA. Southern California weather cannot be beat.
The three problems with California are the taxes, outrageous laws, and Ed Hardy retards.

Summer is fine, but 100 degrees can GTFOOMF. If its 85+ it is way too sweaty. I'm not a wintertard, but I'll definitely take Spring and Fall first
-

100 degrees wouldn't be as bad if we weren't also in a humid, sweaty climate. Manhattan is probably one of the worse in Kansas when it comes to humidity, must be the river valley or whatever (LWIQ). Though western Kansas does not seem nearly as humid.

Don't even get me started on Arizona. There is no rough ridin' water, why is there a huge rough ridin' city in Phoenix?!?! There shouldn't be a rough ridin' city there, or in Tuscon, or any of the other rough ridin' cities in that stupid rough ridin' desert. What a horrible waste of resources.
