I think I would be more republican if I liked to murder brown people, thought the morning after pill was murder, and hated the gays.

At least you're not a hypocrite.

Although, I would argue there aren't many things I would consider Obama very liberal for.

Does anyone feel like this was inaccurate in any way. I'm impressed that there seems to be such a variety of results.

87% Mitt. Seems about right.

I think it's pretty accurate, although Mitt's stance on these issues changes so often that everyone's % agreement with him probably won't be all that accurate come election time.
-
I have feeling that if I did it once a week my results would change a bit because I would weight the issues differently. I'll try it later.

I've honestly never taken a look at the Green Party's platform or given them the time of day, but I don't think the quiz asked enough environmental policy questions to accurately reflect anybody's agreement with the green party.
-
Mitt 96
Ron 93
Barack 19
I don't think it is accurate, but it trends similar in that I think I am close between Mitt and Ron, and Barack is way back. I just don't think I agree with any political candidate more than 80% on the issues.

Took it again,
GJ: 87%
BO: 83%
JS: 76%
RP: 71%
MR: 33%
I think part of the BO alignment is ranking the science and social questions as more or most important, and lining up closely with BO. In retrospect, I probably interpreted "importance" as what I fest strongest about, not what issues I think are most important for a presidential candidate.
-
did you guys notice you could expand some sections so that there were several more questions involved? Also, if you click on the "other answer" on every category, it has some answers that give some more clarifaction on your stance - instead of a simple "Yes" or "No"

Yes I did. Also as 8manpick said, I weighted the issues on what I feel strongest about not so much what I feel are most important. So...

Your matches:
Obama 67% (29/43) agreed
Stein 62% (18/29) agreed
Johnson 49% (20/41) agreed
Goode 43% (19/44) agreed
Romney 31% (11/36) agreed
FWIW, I think this quiz is poorly balanced.

I liked the second quiz more than the first one, but I'm not entirely sure if it accurately portrayed each candidate's views on each question. For example, the quiz says that Romney answered "yes" to the question " Should the US federal government have bailed out US financial corporations like AIG, Bank of America, Citigroup., etc?". From the debate, where he said we need to repeal Dodd Frank because it makes some banks too big to fail. It seems like his answer today would be no. Granted, the quiz would have to be updated nearly every day to keep up with Romney's changing positions.
