Title: Chuck Weiss: Avid KSU follower and observer
Post by: Dugout DickStone on July 24, 2012, 03:02:58 PM
On what convinced him to take the job: Weis once again mentioned the success of K-State and Mizzou. If they can do it, he says, why can’t Kansas? (Earlier, Weis said he really respected K-State coach LHC Bill Snyder.)

Weiss also mentioned all of our ass-kickings of bowl opponents and basically stated we are a big time national team with great reputation.

Chuck Weis . . . what a dude.

Also pant fronts and pleating.  He's the bane of those things' existence.  That's from people ITK FWIW.

Here were the blumpster's observations of the press conference:

A) Ol' Chucky may touch his no-no zone to Snyder.

B) He's at Kansas but wishes he was at KSU.

C) Him and Mangino are buddies...I couldn't imagine the number of countries impacted by their food consumption (aka Bolivia).

D) I want to see Chuck and Manblimpo jump in the air and bump bellies (most likely over their excitement about the 8 dollar buffet at Golden Corral)

I like how he's trying to get on Snyder's good side now.  Too late loser.

Wait...did Big Jay get left hangin/reaching for another side hug. Or is that some sort of salute I've seen on the History Channel before?
