I think I might be the only person alive who doesn't like rain. It's like, I know it's necessary, but I just don't enjoy it.

I do not have a water thingy built into my lawn, and I do not water my lawn...ever.  It still comes back to life every year.  Jesus must work miracles on my yard or something.

I do not give a crap about whether we get rain or not.  It's mostly an annoyance.  If it raise the cost that I have to pay for stuff to the point where I notice, then I guess I might give a crap.

Crab grass is a wonderful thing. Very low maintenance for Pete.

I've never watered my lawn and it's green as hell and there's a 10 foot (weed/tree/who knows) growing in my back patio.  Thought it was going to stop at leaves sprouting out of the ground at like 6 inche and in 2 years it's progressed to tree style in the heat.  Water's overrated.

Good lord people. If we are supposed to be :kstategrad: , then don't be :kugrad: and let your yard look like crap. Hire somebody to take care of it. Having unidentifiable weeds in your back yard that are 10 ft. tall is not cool. It makes you look like :highlandjucograd:

invite ten people to come over and help you dig trenches so that you can install a water thingy. plus side is that nobody will have to bring their own shovel.

If you're not going to take care of your lawn, then why even bother buying a house?

Pro-tip: (in my experience) the fescue mixes handle the heat way better and need less water than the bluegrass mixes.
