In high school business class we did this project where we had to pick a stock and then keep track of it or whatever, but anyway my friend and I picked this telephone company because the stock market abbreviation thing for it was NippnTT.    :D

broXcore's Cleveland Joke Book really has kinda slumped lately. Something about market saturation really dragging it down.

Don't go anywhere near John Currie's Western Wear. Recipe for disaster.

You're going to be really surprised if you ever get to see what the chokeout consists of.

Pro tip do not invest in spirit aerosystems stock.  Do not invest in it.  If I break even in this venture I will be happy/relieved.

This has been entertaining to say the least. Stocks in mutual funds do not count. I just want to see what others are investing in recently that has done well. I tried to find goEMAW.com, but their ticker is not working properly. I might invest if I could learn more about them.

I am still holding out hope for this thread. :fingers crossed:

Mods, burn it down.

My best stock is Cerner.  CERN.  It is a local KC based business (corp), and they do very well.  This stock has split 3 or 4 times since I bought it in '05.  It most recently split around first of the year, went down to 20 something a share and closed yesterday @ 83.56.  They usually split the stock when it maintains 100 for while.
