We are seeking a "creative" mechanical engineer (someone who thinks outside the box) to assist in the design and development of a "better" football helmet. Must be highly proficient in Solidworks, surfaces and FEA. Should have a portfolio of products/designs that you have developed and are willing to share....something to "show off". This position will be contract work for 6-12 months and could/should transition to a full time position. We are an engineering/development company in Lenexa, KS with a successful track record of bringing innovative products to market.

I think about this a lot.  Helmet has to be integrated into the shoulder pads to move energy away from the brain.  I think.   :dunno:

I'm a ME, but you can't afford me (K-State Grad.  :kstategrad:).  So good luck.   :thumbs:

sounds like a scam to steal IP

they will absolutely fire you after you develp the product, there will be no full-time position

any EMAWs out there better read the NDA and NCC under very fine detail and with a lawyer.

Yes it's a big scam.  We designed, engineered, patented and produce the next generation, fully adjustable Hans device.  We don't need anyone else's IP, thank you.  We need a good engineer that will follow directions and can build FEA models. 

If you are an engineer with "helmet IP", please do NOT contact us.  Move forward with patenting it and then bring it to market so we can better protect players.....and so that we will continue to have football as a sport.  TIA.
