You realize this is a preseason list, right? There is no difference in talent between KU and K-State. If anything, KU has more talent.

please reveal to us who these superstars are. i'm sure with offer lists like that they would be first team all big12 at least (if not AA's).

Arthur Brown is the best player between either program. After that its probably Malone and then Hawkinson. Klein is good, but he won't be a qb in the NFL. He also gets to carry the ball aout 70 more times than any other player in college football.
are we discussing NFL Pro Bowlers or All Big 12 players

Strictly talent. Beems isn't far off. Gill and co. were a coaching disaster, but pretty good recruiters. The talent is there to take a significant step forward from God awful to a least average if the new staff has their crap together.

It takes some serious work to be the kind of a$$hole you are. I bet you're a horrible father too... what kind of deadbeat dad spends this much time on a message board?
If Scheme Doctor had KU's roster I think the results would be very similar. KU's talent was considered better out of high school, but it isn't developed like K-State's. You guys should embrace that.

True story bro . . . K-State assistants used to brag they could have taken Terry Allen's teams to bowl games.

Sad thing is that Terry Allen probably could have had Darren Sproles if he wasn't so incompetent.

Lashing out after the Boston U debacle, eh? Too poor/dumb to get into Harvard, Boston College, or MIT?
That's another myth perpetuated by K-State fans. Hinrich was on the olympic team. Collison is a solid player for the Thunder. Chalmers is starting for the Heat. Gooden just had a big year for the Bucks. Arthur had a big year for Memphis last year before an injury this season. Rush just had his best NBA season with the Warriors. Aldrich is developing for OKC. Markieff had a really good rookie season with the Suns. Marcus is still setting into his role in Houston. Henry is getting minutes with the Hornets. Julian was kind of a bust. D-Jack has been a role player for a few teams, and Selby is a project with the Grizzlies. Pierce is the only super star, but collectively, that's a pretty good list of NBA talent.
Edit - forgot to mention that T-Rob will be a top 5 pick and Tyshawn will probably be an early 2nd rounder.

Well, the US News I looked had them at #26.
That's kind of like saying, "Hey man, your the 4th best player on your team behind James, Rose and Bryant."
Oh well.

Wait, beems is talking personal academic smack when he went to a school for undergrad with admission standards that will let you in if you can write the alphabet and chew gum at the same time?
I mean, :dubious:

Didn't most of the posters here go to school for undergrad at K-State (the poorest school in the Big 12, with the worst academics outside of Texas Tech)?

MIT for law school? I never knew.
Name one K-State player with an offer list that compares to this one:QuoteKansas COMMITTED (12/23/2008)
Florida
Nebraska
Notre Dame
Purdue
Texas Tech
Or this one:QuoteNotre Dame COMMITTED (04/20/2007)
Florida St.
Iowa

Oregon

USC
Bottom line is that K-State has a bunch of borderline d-1 players who have been developed by Scheme Doctor and nourished through a Big 12 strength and conditioning program. KU's players didn't have any of those luxuries the past two years. Add the stars up and the offer lists and it's just not even close.
some of you *cough*fanning*cough* need to take a debate or bbs 101 class.
Wow beems demeaning someones degree from Boston University LMAO
I've seen it all.
And he jokes like he could of gotten accepted to Harvard or Yale.

sucks for crist that he couldn't be developed the first time that Weis tried to. 2nd times a charm I hear.
Also a plus is that our qbs don't look like humongous douches and huge pussies.

 Welcome back to Manhattan in 2012 KU.
We're all Kansans guys. We shouldn't make fun of eachother's schools.
“I’ve already written the depth charts up for August, and a lot of the guys playing in the spring, they ain’t on it,” Weis said. “They were starters in the spring, and they’re third-team going into August.
Did Steele even consider ku's august team?Quote“I’ve already written the depth charts up for August, and a lot of the guys playing in the spring, they ain’t on it,” Weis said. “They were starters in the spring, and they’re third-team going into August.
