Title: oscar's Staff
Post by: steve dave on May 17, 2012, 09:19:09 AM
Thought I was going to hate the crap out of it.  I would have liked to have a recruit in pocket guy but the two young guys make me happy.  Seems like he got guys with connections to the right parts of the country.  I don't hate the crap out of it.

Yea.  I'm not impressed or thrilled, but I don't hate the crap out of it.

Wait and See.

It doesn't look too shabby on paper.  The proof is in the pudding though.  Will you like that pudding?  Cool, sugar-filled custardy goodness or room-temperature semen?  What will it be?  It's the waiting that always gets me.

I am impatient and like instant pudding.  Don't care that original may turn into something better than what instant pudding is if given the time to set up.  I would rather have something pretty damn good immediately.

Anybody else like pistachio(?) pudding? I think it is delicious. I could eat lots of it.

One year of high major experience. (combined). I honestly expected better, even from oscar. I like Frazier, though.

I look at it a lot like the head coaching job.  They haven't failed yet in this case.  If we had a bunch of experience, they probably would've been experienced losers.

Is frazier in tight with his old AAU program and rudy gay? I think he might blossom into my favorite cats hoops coach ever.

That's the case for Frazier for sure, but not so much for Brooks. He's in his thirties and recently made the move from Bradley (where he failed) to Sam Houston State. Not exactly "up-and-coming".

Most of us have the bar set higher than "not hating the crap out of it".  Baby steps I guess.   :frown:

Mike Cox and Brad Korn. I'll bet we have a new assistant baseball coach next year named Myles Long or some crap like that.

The shittiest thing about this staff is the number of people that didn't want to be on it.  Not a good sign.

You have no idea how bad this staff sucks.  No idea.  Chet's the only guy who has a chance.

Could be wrong, but I don't think that Kim has played with or for him in college.  So, take it FWIW.

What a fuckface a-hole of a statement by a highly likely fuckface a-hole of a person.

While I'd like to believe the latter statement, it seems the former is correct. Little experience makes the whole staff pretty unpredictable at this point but its safe to say this is closer to a failure than a success. Get me Semi and I'll never speak a terrible word about it again though. oscar said we needed to get KS kids () in his initial presser. Well here is the one player you need to get.

Both are from Baltimore I'm sure that is the connection.
