OT:  Does anyone else find it annoying when "that guy" in your office comes up to you and says, "I was listening to NPR the other day and . . . " or "I heard on NPR that . . . "  followed by some dull story.

Like the fact that it was on NPR some how qualifies it as important, intelligent or interesting in the least bit, or that because he listens to NPR he is some how more enlightened as to goings on of the world.

No, but I feel like people that listen to NPR believe they're listening to the 7 series versoin of news, when in reality they're listening to the VCR version.
