Surprised I hadn't seen this yet. BCS people are planning on kstate being top seed and hosting future playoffs. Better hurry and get the two new hotels in....

You do you.
Translation (for Bill Hancock): Go eff yourself
-
Feels good to be elite.

Yea. Its great that they realize the first hurdle to BCS playoffs is going to be making sure K-State is ready

Oh man, great Jurassic Park scene. Truely thought provoking. The rest of the article was meh.

Could have gone without the story of her being on the rag.
-
The rag part made me smile because I knew at that point why there was no female restroom in the pressbox.

It looks like another big-time sports writer is starting to make his BCS trip plans for MHK. He's pretty :ohno: about facing a long wait at Applebee's.

I wish they'd get off our nut sacks and give us some room. It's hard to beat off these media hounds. Too many fans.

Guy on the radio this morning said Stewart Mandel is going around telling people at the end of the meetings it was a 60-40 split in favor of the anchor bowl plan, which he published, but that earlier in the meetings it was more 70-30 and the momentum was swinging towards the on campus plan. He's also telling people he's expecting that momentum to continue when the commissioners go back to their spring meetings and that the on campus plan is still alive and well.
-
I hope we end up with the on-campus plan. I really do.
-
I just don't see a lot of fanbases spending on essentially two bowl trips...

I don't either, and the fans who actually get to host a home game would be in for a real treat.

I agree. Plus, it gives a big incentive to teams to finish in the Top 2. I know the NFL is a bit different, but in the last 20 years the home team is 24-16 in the NFC/AFC title game, so its not an automatic.

People with connections at local Manhattan eateries and hotels will be sitting pretty.
