K-State coach LHC LHC Bill Snyder said he held several regulars out of the game and rested others because of "soft tissue," issues. Basically, it meant they might have been nursing muscle stretches or pulls, with the coach deciding to err on the side of caution.
Neither wide receiver Tyler Lockett nor linebacker Jarell Childs suited up. Lockett was a starter last year, and Childs is battling Justin Tuggle for the strong-side linebacker job.
Tuggle was out there looking amazing.
