I'm taking the family down to Quapaw, OK tonight to see the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Any of you fellers know where the best place to eat is? Are there any nice motels that aren't too expensive?

well, I think the casino where the show is would have been a nice choice to stay, but it's all booked! I would make the short jaunt to joplin and stay at the Microtel inn:

I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you guys, but the show was fantastic. I thought Mr. Bojangles would be the highlight of the night but then Fishin in the Dark came along and they blew me away. You guys should try to catch The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band whenever you get a chance. Michigan Cat, you were right about the Microtel. It was a real class establishment all the way run by real classy people. Fazoli's was great as well. Thank you for all of your help!!!

Quapaw casino is a shithole but there are no antes at their blackjack tables :excited:

The performance was at the Downstream Casino and Resort. It was a pretty nice facility and also had no antes at the blackjack tables.

Hmm... I was like 90% sure they had antes.
Downstream is easily the nicest Casino in the area and they have poker going all the time. Also $1.50 Miller Hi-Lifes most nights :thumbs:
