he had kind of a point a couple of times about the offense there for awhile.
It was quite obvious what Frank was trying to do though.
But at one point he's bitching and Dom is at the rim (getting fouled . . . no call) and he's bitching about our floor spacing. The next time, if our bigs could make a f_cking decent pass to save their lives (and Denny doesn't stop) we have a lay up.
Bob, go run your motion offense back in 1987.

The whole time I'm thinking, "dang dude where was all this genius basketball strategy when you were in Lubbock".
Then I realized he criticizes because he cares. Bob has a warm spot in his cold, cold heart for us.
-
eff bob, he is the reason for the premature death of the early season junkyard cats
-
Again, I'll throw him a bone for a couple of possessions, and yes, we do reach way to much at times . . . but damn, we're literally going in for a dunk (and getting fouled, no call) and he's bitching on and on about floor spacing. A moment later, make a decent pass, we've got a layup.
Plus, is there some rule I missed that says you have to use the entire floor?? We we're trying to come in tight to get some screens on them and pop some guys out, didn't work that well . . . but that happens, maybe the team just didn't execute it that well.
-
I thought he had a pretty good call. Anyone? :dunno:

Bob Knight is a loser.

Love how he was criticizing Frank for not having anything constructive to say during a timeout.... since he was the king of constructive timeouts.

You know, he really does.
Thanks for the tips Gramps.

It's 50 feet wide, dax. It needs to be used. All of it. At all times.

If I had to hear him say one more time about how tired we were going to be tomorrow when we play uk, I was going to throw a chair.
-
Get out the sharpies Wabash, we're going to put some numbers out there on the floor and get that got damn floor spacing and using that 50 feets if it kills us.

I did throw a chair. It was pretty damn funny

I feel like he rides us kinda like a coach rides his best player... cuz he loves and cares for us.
That said, make your point and shut the hell up, i don't want to hear what you would of done in 1979 for 45 straight minutes
-
Bob does like K-State, because he knew Jack Hartman pretty well, and Jack played for Henry Iba, and Bob does love him some Hank Iba, he just doesn't mention him as much as Clair Bee or a couple of others.

Now you're talkin.
Also BK just can't accept the fact that there are coaching philosophies other than his own. Hell if Keith Smart hadn't hit a lucky prayer in '87 Ol' Bobby wouldn't be so smart

I can't remember if it was Kietz or someone else after the Texas game who said that it seemed like Bob was coaching K-State throughout the game because he wanted us to beat Texas. Could have been similar tonight. Can't imagine Bobby was fond of Baylor while he was at Tech.

bobby knight (like all big 12) coaches hates drew
-
dax, you analyze frank like bob knight.
-
Fatty . . . during the Texas game Knight was pretty much right, and anyone who can't admit that K-State was an offensive clusterf_ck for a huge portion of that game is just a tard. But last night against Baylor, Knight had a point for like 12 seconds and turned it into 8 minute diatribe . . . meanwhile we're at the rim multiple times.
