I'll set it at 3 and take the over.
I don't think that you'll fire Currie soon enough to get rid of Weber.
Welcome back to the dark ages. :flush:
-
maybe so, but we have to try.
-
You set the line way too low
-
Easy money.
-
There is enough venom built up with the hire that we will be able throw him out Prince style if he sucks. Concern is how forgettable the program is at that time.
-
Anyone taking the under must have ITK info about his health.

LOL - Wooly got 6 and never finished better than 6-10 & 7th place in the Big XII. The over/under on Weber has to be at least 8, 10 if he makes the NCAA tournament a couple of times in his first 5 years.

way over. we are dead.

How many years does it take to kill our program?
-
I wonder how much longer he will last if Bill is able to maintain success. I would say for every good year of Bill that almost guarantees 3 years of distracted tucks. A year of average Bill is equal to 2 years of tucks not caring about basketball.

Six
Six miserable years of exponentially worse basketball. This year should be ok though right? RIGHT?

GIVE HIM A CHANCE. HE HASN'T COACHED A GAME.
-
How long until he has converted the OOD to a Woolyesque, half full, pleasant place?
And I know Frank lost some very winnable home games but there were times the OOD was a decided advantage. I'd bet by season 3 it is half full and as timid as Will at a sorority party.

How many years does it take to kill our program?
That happened in the length of time it took to hire Weber. The program is now exactly analagous to one of those Silicon Valley zombie businesses that looked really promising for a while, went through a couple of rounds of venture financing, made some great hires (including the classics: whiz-kid, grumpy old highly successful veteran & rags-to-riches complete unknown with a lot of talent), built a cool prototype product, showed some signs of life and moved into really nice digs. But now everyone outside the business knows the gig is up: the fatal flaws are exposed to the world, the product's failure is imminent, the next round of funding (here read "good coaching & recruiting") will never happen and soon the vultures will be picking the bones. Enjoy the final season or, maybe, two of coasting; nothing good will happen after that.

a better question would be....
how long till botched free hotdog giveaways to lure in the townies?
o/u at year 4
-
I would put a push @ 4 for hot dog promos
I would put oscar's years at 7, not sure what line I'm going against on that
