If you don't want to read the details, below are the rankings.
1 - Geno Smith, West Virginia
2 - Collin Klein, Kansas State
3 - Landry Jones, Oklahoma
4 - Casey Pachall, TCU
5 - Seth Doege, Texas Tech
6 - Nick Florence, Baylor
7 - Clint Chelf, Oklahoma State
8 - David Ash, Texas
9 - Dayne Crist, Kansas
10 - Jared Barnett, Iowa State
-
I know for a fact that Dayne Crist, when sober, is the best QB in the conference.
-
TO THE PHOG!
:cheese:
-
seems about right. Landry Jones sucked balls and ballsacks and taints after he lost his primary target. Isn't McCoy projected as the TX starter and not Ash?

who knows. Havent seen musical quarterbacks like that in a while

I thought I had read somewhere that Mack said McCoy was the clear leader after spring camp or something
-
I showed that article to a KU buddy of mine...he's flipping absolute crap right now because Crist is so low.

  of course he is. Just makes me laugh how some KU fans think their going to be good...
-
what about the BELL DOZER :ohno:

Yeah, was a lot of tweeting from the longhorn media folks a few weeks ago about this. they seemed pissed about it too.

I think the Barnett kid at Iowa State is better then what they have him ranked. Can't see ranking him last behind unproven guys based on the way he played last year.

He kinda lit us up last year. I also remember that game as one of the most boring games I've ever been to. All students pussied out and stayed inside for the game. I was irate!

I'm a student and I was :emawkid: my ass off.
Anyways, I would rank Barnett higher. 7th, between Baylor and Oklahoma State's new QBs, seems fair.
-
1) I have tons of issues with these rankings.
2) Guess we have a ton of good QBs in the league.
3) Bell Dozer. Anyone else think it's interesting that Stoops brings in a CK clone in certain sets? (Bell is a more complete QB than CK is but still...)

Weis is a calling Chyrst "a man amongst boys" in spring practice. Way to go Charlie go ahead and single out one player over the entire team that's a great strategy for a head coach to motivate his team. Especially when you have a guy like Chyst that proved so much in his prolific career at Notre Dame.
-
Well say I'm up the banana wall or whatever, but I don't think Weis knows wtf he's doing

Weiss actually meant that he is a man who is over 21 and can buy 30 packs of Keystone for all the under 21 boys on the team.

I think he's a good QB coach and he's talking like one. I don't think he has any idea how to be a successful head coach especially at a place like KU.
