Title: Entire Tech team transfers

Their entire chess team (returning back-to-back national champs) is transferring, including the coach.  The students are getting full rides from Webster, which they didn't have from Tech.


This is a perfect example of what students will do if they have the same rights as coaches (i.e. do things that are in their own best interest).


THE NCAA MUST NEVER LET THIS HAPPEN!

I'm just wondering why those kids went to Tech in the first place. Especially since it appears the have IQs higher than 12.

It seems like a good idea now, but just wait.   They'll be missing Lubbock.

Man, their AD must suck at keeping the talent.
