Title: What would it take for Snyder to make a stand?

While there are plenty of ideas of how to oust Currie, nothing would work better or faster than the godfather, himself, taking an open stand against Currie.

Snyder could publicly say, "I do not think John Currie is a good fit for Kansas State University. It is my personal belief that he should be relieved of his duties as Athletic Director." Literally, that is all it would take for 97.5% of Wildcat nation to rise to our cause. When the man speaks, people listen. Currie will never fire or 'let go' of Snyder. Even he isn't that stupid.

What will it take for Snyder to make this stand?

If Snyder didn't say anything after Currie wouldn't let him hire Leavitt, he's not going to ever say anything.

Am I the only one that finds it absurd that Snyder would ever allow Currie to dictate something that important to him?  I guess if Leavitt would only come if he had a HCIW title and Currie wouldn't sign off on it?
