Next year means nothing to me in this regard. The team if most good players stay will be fine. Dude better bring in a good class next season and make the NCAA in 13-14. If he can then e will start to build some momentum with me.
-
Suck as much as humanly possible so Currie is ran out of town. Then Weber can rough ridin' follow
-
Kill himself
-
Top 10 recruiting class.
Final 4
NCAA Championship
Increments of 1 year each.
-
Do better than Frank did at KSU
-
In the next month... Keep Rod, JO, Angel. Get a good staff. Land a Top 150 recruit.
-
Quit. Tomorrow.
-
I started posting something serious, and began laying out what would need to happen... but this is so ridiculous it's not worth the time.
-
there is nothing weber can do for me. second to kstate basketball, i like illinois basketball. john currie just hired the one person that almost makes me hate our own program. kudos to him that crafty son of a bitch.
-
In the next month... Keep Rod, JO, Angel. Get a good staff. Land a Top 75 recruit.
fixed
we're already getting top 150. We should be looking to improve not fall further behind.
-
Get to atleast the sweet sixteen next year with the players we have.

You didn't hear? That's what oscar stated as the goal. His goal is the rough ridin' sweet sixteen.
-
Recruit really good for two years but lose enough we can fire him.
-

+Chase Sprads off, imo
-
If he could win 4 or 5 national championships over the next 3 years I would probably start drinking the kool aid.
-
Kill himself
Pexikan (throws a wad of money at John Curries feet): "Some flowers for your head coach."
naturalselection (grabs most of the bills of the ground): "Get some cheap ones." (pulls down his pants walking away): "And you can kiss my ass, too."
-
Top 10 recruiting class.
Final 4
NCAA Championship
Increments of 1 year each.
I'll add be on Sportscenter every night.
-
bring me the head of the griffin
-
top 25 recruiting class next year, Keep Underwood, Keep all current players (except for Omari and Watson they can leave) elite 8 next year top 3 in the Big XII
Following year
Top 25 recruiting class sweet 16 top 3 in the big 12
-
Fill Upshaw's spot with a top 150, get in on a handful of top 150s for the 2013 class (Malcolm hill included), find a way to convince underwood and angel and gip to stay, bring a legit recruiter on staff.
As for wins, 14 in the big 12, 25 overall in the first season.
All that happens and maybe I will donate to the ahearn fund again.
-
Kill himself
For me it would take a murder/suicide. I just demand more.
-
Hire Doug Gottlieb as an assistant and groom him 1 season to take over as HC in 2013-2014.
-
You know, a start for me would just be some evidence that he gives a crap when he loses. That its not ok, that "it was a close game" is not acceptable. I would like to know that his day is better/worse based on whether or not we win.
-
Kill himself
I am with you
-
i'm good with ncaas 4 out of 5 years
-
Those of you mentioning recruiting, he has proven that he can recruit (well his former staff anyway) he hasn't proven that he can coach for crap.
As I said before even if he has a great year next year most people will always remember how he started and then trended at Illinois.
-
top 3 conference APR, year in and year out.

This would be funny if it wasn't so sad that a good number of our fanbase would agree with this.

I think the recruiting was meant as something he can do right away to start gaining some faith. I'll agree that he can't coach, but I like our chances better with good players and crap coaching than crap both.
-
Nothing

"When you succeed a Illinois you go to Kansas and when you fail at Illinois, you go to Kansas State."

But
1. His recruiters aren't coming with him
2. He has already proven in his program good recruiting and poor coaching don't work.

someone's been reading espn
-
I hate him and will never like him. Whoever doesn't transfer I will cheer on from my living room next season, but after that I dunno man...... it'll just be indifference like when the women's team plays
-
Chingon, I really sympathize with the Wildcat fans right now.
Currie with the biggest  imaginable.
-
Honestly, if he stays on par with what Frank was doing I'll be satisfied.
-
I just sent hate mail to Currie
-

Watching Asbury and Wooly makes this easier for me to take. I can understand how watching Asbury and Wooly and then Huggins and Martin would make this harder on people though.

Agreed. This would be a "meh" hire coming off of Asbury or Wooldridge. Coming off of Huggins & Martin it is a travesty.
-
He will never gain my support. I will hate him no matter what.
-
Be a good coach.
-

Also want Diaz kept. I like him. Agree with the rest 100%. Shouldn't be asking much IMO.
-
Conference title or Final 4

Why settle for 1st when 16th is available? :flush:

Coming off Asbury and Wooly this would be a major upgrade. At least this guy has taken a team to a championship game (granted it was with Self's players). There is no way Asbury or Wooly would have done that with anybody's players. Still a step backwards from where we have been the last few years though.

Yeah but he's going to be trying something entirely new at KSU:
1. Shitty recruiting
2. Shitty coaching
Bold move by Currie here! :ksu:
-
There is nothing he can realistically do. Kstate BBall is dead for the forseable future. Our best hope is.for.him to be fired and oscar Pearl or DG to take over
-
hire Gots, give him half his salary plus asst. coach salary and call him the head coach will Webs is a seat filler for Snyds will he is busy doctoring up schemes.... that is rough ridin' it. that or a NC next yr and retire for Pearl or Gots
-
Get this kid

-
he won't
-
I don't hate Weber. It's not his fault our AD decided to hire him. I hate Currie and everything this hire stands for. I will support K-State again when Currie is gone, even if Weber is still coaching. I am done as long as John Currie still works for Kansas State, though.
-
Wouldn't be surprised if he hires his AAU coach...
-
he won't
-
i don't care if he turns out to be the second coming of jesus christ, i will never support the douchebag.
