Get out while you can. We won't blame you. You don't deserve this. No one does.

GTFO while you can.

You're too good for the mid-major we're about to become (well, most of you).

Yes, Will, you come back and sit next to Mr. Currie for the presser. But don't speak; your voice and Weber's in the same room would be too much to handle.

This is the stupidest thing I've heard from you.  We are all pissed, but how easy will it be to get out of the craphole that we fall into if all of the good players leave?  I hate John Currie, I hate this situation, but I love K-State.

The worse this team is, the easier it will be to get oscar out. If you love kstate please transfer so we can begin the healing.

i do too.  which is why I want them to leave.  it's what's best for all involved.  they can go on and have nice careers (or one years) somewhere, oscar can fail more quickly which will mean he and currie can get the f*ck out of emaw more quickly.

Yes, because I'm sure once we fail, fire oscar, fire Currie, that there will be LOADS of good coaches just lining up to bring in top recruits to Manhattan.

If we do it within 2 years, oscar Pearl will be available.

This is about doing the humane thing. These kids should not have to endure what is about to befall K-State hoops.

Better a quick death. A clean death.

Then Pearl will be available.

I have a hard time picturing Pearl coming here, particularly if Currie ends up fired over this fiasco.

Ha. We wont Fire Currie. HE'll quit and go somewhere he gives a F about before we get the honor of canning his ass.

I support this idea, kougar. burn the rough rider down and fire Currie before he leaves next year after Weber courageously leads us to an 11 seed and Jeff Goodman says he was right all along.

Pearl is a smart, logical guy. He will applaud K-State for firing that gutless accountant.

If the player defections that are being rumored actually happen, you won't have to worry about that.

So, everyone is everyone on goEMAW completely of the mindset that NONE of the smoke about the player "mutiny" is true?  You and I both know, Kougs, that Spradling was not the only player involved, and before you start talking about Omari and Nino, we have been told that bigger names were part of it.  But now we hope that they find happiness and we have to watch years of crappy basketball?  BS

It is inevitable that our basketball program is going to turn into a dumpster fire eventually under Weber. I would rather we just nuke the dumpster now and rebuild.

Are you referring to the anti-Frank mutiny, or the impending anti-Weber mutiny?  It doesn't rough ridin' matter, they're GTFO.  This time though, we're giving a guy 10 million over 5 years to make it happen.

I could not care less about any of that. We just hired oscar effing Weber.

Again: let's not drag this thing out. We know Weber isn't going to be successful here. It's better for the program if he loses sooner rather than later so we can get to the rebuild more quickly.

It's science.

TeamSprads Propaganda is acting like every player was leaving.  I do not believe that the administration, as said, was fighting to keep Frank AND the players were about to mutiny.  Sprads was leaving, regular Franking was going to happen, that was it.  All of Sprads KC-Area AAU coaches/family is pretending there was a player mutiny.  They also say Sprads had a hand infection that for some reason they only disclose once there is enough chaos for nobody to call bullshit, but not when everyone was pissed for him sucking

Alone, he doesn't. But it fit nicely with Currie's agenda, so Currie fueled the rumor himself. And clearly, Currie does have that much power.

For now.

He doesn't, Currie didn't want Frank here and Sprads fit his narrative.  Of all the players, there is one that plays that is from the area.  Enough K-Staters talk to people who are TeamSprads, who are anti-Martin, and they spread the narrative.  TeamSprads are the only ones talking.

Yeah, sorry, I was referring to being selfish in terms of immediate gratification (what little there would be) from throwing out a winning team next season.
