Title: This is the Currie's fault
Post by: A-Lishious on March 26, 2012, 11:08:34 PM
...right? I mean if you call a bluff on a Cubano that has too much emotional baggage/honor to give in or scenario 2 where youre Currie and youre just a douche and tell Jamar that he cant play anymore just cuz he wanted an italian beef sando....

I mean i just dont see how this is anyone but Currie's fault. I am so pissed.

Well, Frank was the one who bluffed in the first place, so they were both responsible.  If anything, I admire Currie for calling his bluff.

Pretty sure both bluffed and no one called the others bluff.... both made career suicide.

Currie called his bluff because he didn't respond to the numerous statments that, contrary to what was reported, a deal had not been done - including a text to Andy Katz from Frank himself.

This is like Footloose but neither tractor driving yokel flinched and they died and the movie ended.

Best part about everyone blaming Currie (right or wrong) is that it intinsifies the need him to spend the cash to make a homerun hire to save his career.  If Frank leaves and everyone feels sorry for Currie, he goes and hires a Wooly, and then blames Frank for the programs subsequent collapse.

Would Scott Drew's brother(s) be worth considering?

Currie has damned us, but perhaps salvation still waits for him and us. :dunno:
