I'm always prepared to be bad at basketball again. I didn't live through Altman, Asbury, and Wooly for nothing. I'll always be a Wildcat hoops fan.

This is a disappointing day.

Uh, that is the incorrect approach. The correct approach is, "I didn't live through Altman, Asbury, and Wooly JUST TO WATCH US SUCK AGAIN AFTER TASTING SUCCESS."

I remember skipping class back at K-State to watch Wooly get drilled by Texas Tech in the P66, thinking to myself how depressing K-State hoops was, and then getting to class, logging onto ksufans.com, and finding out Wooly got fired immediately after the game.

The feeling of elation was immediate and immense, only to be topped later when I found out the Huggins pipe dream had become a reality.

Well. Today feels like trudging to class after getting beaten by Tech in the P66.

We all knew Wooly would get fired after Tech. Rusty even started a sarcastic game thread to follow the action of his last game. Good feeling/memory.

Sure, but we didn't know it would be in the hallway right after. Weiser was awesome.
