I'm not worried.  Frank would have to be completely Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) to leave.  I don't think he's completely Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!), and well, if he is, I will have been glad that a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) isn't coaching our bball guys any more.

I'd say 5%

I'm with you _FAN, 30 % is about what feels right for me. Ask me 5 hours ago and it would have been higher.

I will say this, if it is zero, Frank is doing himself a HUGE disservice by not coming out and saying he is staying....how the hell can you sell a recruit when questions are swirling?  Every competing program in the country is using this against us in recruiting.  You'd have to be an idiot to commit to KSU right now.

Look, this thing has swirled a lot, but it all started with the fact that it is believed that an extension and contract renegotiation are coming in the next few weeks.  There is still that....

frank decides to take a serious look elsewhere every year and we get lucky every year when he decides to stay.  or his lawyer just likes to negotiate with an actual or potential offer in hand.  which is more likely?

pretty sure frank knows that another job will involve a boss that he'll have to answer to, too.

he hasn't looked somewhere else every year and he hasn't "decided" to stay here every year. agree on the second part.

in that case, he hasn't looked elsewhere this year and won't decide to stay this year either, but will be our coach next year.

If Frank's prob is all about reporting to an AD, and not about money or location, he needs to man up and just win a couple NC's.  Guys that do this don't have real bosses, just figureheads that manage fundraising.  Seems like this is all Frank's fault.  If he would just win a couple NC's he could get rid of his boss issue and Currie could still do what he is best at.

oh, now i see where you're coming from.  no, not really zero.  just very small.  sorry for the confusion.  as i see it, he's identified himself as the type to turn other offers into more money.  (he doesn't ask kstate to match, just asks for more.)  i don't have much to draw from with regard to coaches since they're pretty private, but based on what i've observed about this type in general, as long as they get more, they're happy.  i totally acknowledge that i could be wrong, but i'm pretty confident about that assessment.

also, i think he's largely on the same page as currie because why wouln't he be, he's not an idiot.  i know almost no one here agrees with that.
