Nope not asking that.

Define "suck". Let's get the ground rules established, please.

Well, I don't enjoy shitty basketball.

a better pole will be which sport finishes higher in the conference, once we know who the BB coach will be of course.

I would vote football, regardless of who the bball coach is.

Fewer than 8 wins.
Only if OBz dies and sean takes over.
-
Pretty sure we will be amazing. Looking forward to your next question.
-
We should be above average (relative to the last 8 years or so)
7 wins would be pretty dissapointing
8 or 9 is probably most likely
10+ would be simply incredible, again
-
I have a terrible feeling that this is gonna be 2010-2011 bball type of letdown.
-
I think we used up all our luck last season.
-

Would be hard to live up to that size let down. People were picking us to be in the final 4 (lol). I doubt Cat pig skin is ranked in the top 15.
Anything more than 7 wins we shouldnt be overly dissapointed. I really want 9 tho.
-
OB's track record with a returning starter at QB is pretty great
-
as soon as I looked at the schedule the results appeared to me.
Missouri State - win
Miami - win
North Texas - win
at Oklahoma - loss
Kansas - win
at Iowa State - win
at West Virginia - loss
Texas Tech - win
Oklahoma State - win
at TCU - loss
at Baylor - win
vs. Texas - win
It may change for me based on some new information or more study of these opponents, but, as of this moment, I see 9 wins in regular season.
-
We probably won't even be pushed in a game until we play Florida St. in the MNC.
-
WOULD rough ridin' TAKE THE MANHATTER!

Not bad predictos (and I know a thing about predictos), but come on, we're going to absolutely smoke TCU.
-
7-5
-
We better rough ridin' beat Iowa State. Dont give those rubes an inch!
-
7-5
You couldn't be more wrong.
Well I guess you could, but I'm sure you see my point.
-
So Dlew, you just gonna big time in this thread or are you going to let everyone know what the right answer is?
-
I forecast a bright and sunny season.
10-2
@OU and @WVU
-
Will we ever beat OU again? Stoops has been relentless since the 'ship. Come on Bob, that was a long time ago :frown:

Does this take into account the fact that some of players may catch black lung while playing coal aggie and be unavailable in the next few weeks?

Why do you think we will lose to TCU. They'll be the new whipping boy after the Oklahoma & Texas teams get done with them. I will be willing to bet anyone on this board that we'll have a better record this season then TCU. :crossfingers:

I sure hope not hemmy, I sure hope not.

All I gotta say is just enjoy it fellas. I mean, legendary coach, legendary qb Klein, legendary LB, legendary hottie Harp, legendary EMAW Sams, West Stadium expansion starting, walking into the stadium from the east lot, walking past the basketball practice facility with Frank's arms outstretched like this <-----0------>, just enjoy all of it. The wins will come and just let your EMAW hang out, i know i will. :ksu:
-
Wow. I just don't know what the greatest coach of all time has to do to convince all the dummies that he is going to have great teams year in, year out. I could understand it if this were coming form some national media east coast bias idiot, but not a fellow cat fan. Grow some balls, hemmy. I can donate the pair swinging off my truck hitch if you need one.
-
I'm just Ready for this season to start. Soooo far away though! EMAW

No hard feelings about it on this end, Bob. Lets both just let it go

Snyder is so good at what he does. I want him to coach forever. He's the greatest. I love him.

How many people are at this university because of our guy Bill? I know I am. The stadium and the highway are a good start, but I think there needs to be far more buildings on campus named after him.

Our true record last year is 7-6. If you take our games < 7 points, we were 8-1. Since close games are basically a coin flip, we should be 5-4/4-5 in the long run. Since we did end up winning those games, I would estimate our winning percentage would be slightly higher, so 5-4.
So if most people here feel like this year will go the same as last year, we are looking at 7-6.
EMAW!

Winning close games has some luck involved but they're not pure luck.

I remember the year before KU went and won their orange bowl, that they lost a lot of close games, then the next year they won those games. Considering we won those close games last year, shouldn't we just win those games by big margins this year?
but KU did play no one that year... so take it fwiw :dunno:

Feel the same. Won too many close games, in very un-catlike fashion. 7 wins is my guess, +/- one game either way. Will miss the DT's from last year alot IMO, both against the run and against FG attempts...

Fixed your stupid sentence structure & word choice so people would have an easier time understanding your excellent burn
Fantastic come back. Reminds me of this one time someone told me that their great grandfather could have beat up my great grandfather... I was all

I don't see it we have so much coming back. When you compare this roster right now to where it was at this point last year it is night and day. This time last year as far as we knew we had crap at DT, we had no DE's that had played, we had no LB that had played and we had one corner that had played. On offenes we had nothing but questions at QB, no returning starters in the interior o-line and we were pinning all of our offensive hopes on a guy that ended up getting about 5 carries total.
The point is we have a lot of known proven players coming back and there is always unknown guys that step up and get it done. I just don't see how this team won't be pretty good with the experience, leadership and talent. We won't win as many close games as last year but we won't have to.

LOL. Outside of Missouri State and North Texas, every game will be a close game...except maybe @OU. We'll miss both DT's and Garret quite a bit this year IMO.
