Huge fan of whole house DVR. Nothing better than falling asleep to a history channel show(not some stupid pawn shop or shooting competition but something you would watch in history class) in your own bed, 10 minutes of listening to Abraham Lincoln's life story puts me right to sleep.

Solid health insurance coverage.

If you have a spouse that depends on your income, life insurance that is at least 4 times you annual income or double what you owe on your house (whichever is highest). If you have kids, increase the multiplier by 1 for each kid. Knowing they are secure no matter what eliminates a lot of stress.  If you are in good health the cost is minimal.

in fairness, your place is one floor and probably around 1,000 sq feet and you live solo. as amazing nice as all of that is, it technically disqualifies you from this convo and makes any previous points you tried to make invalid.

I think it's like 1200-1300.  It was a long walk from the living room before I found that chick's jacket in the kitchen after MOAP2.5.

Mine didn't work.  I've now got DVRs in every room instead.

one floor. one person. i mean, it's nice to have an opinion about stuff but i'd probably stay out of a conversation involving how nice venice is in the spring time if i've never stepped foot outside of the states. i'd look a little silly if someone called me on it.

venice is in the spring time

This content is taken from my website : 'Explore Italian Culture'. Visit us to find out all about Italy. : Venice, Italy weather : the climate in spring. http://www.explore-italian-culture.com/venice-italy-weather.html#ixzz1pCGVZ587

Spring is one of the nicest seasons to visit Venice.  The weather is warm and usually sunny, the temperatures are comfortable and don't have the humidity of summer, rains are easing off, days are lengthening, and although Venice is a year-round tourist venue, the mass tourism and huge crowds of summer haven't yet started.  However, the climate in spring is more unpredictable than any other season.  It can be warm and sunny but rains can break into heavy and lasting thunderstorms.  But as long as you go prepared (take an umbrella!), you'll love it.

Went to a small school and we had the German chick show up one year.  She was like 6'2" and the coaches insisted on her playing basketball.  She was horrendous.  Nice girl though.  We took her to a party once and she just bagged on us the whole time because "American beer tastes like water".   :dunno:
