7 Questions. Just curious to see what everyone else thinks -------
1) #1 seed most likely to Lose first?
2) Team seeded 10-13 most likely to make sweet 16?
3) Team seeded 13-15 most likely to pull off upset?
4) Team seeded 3 or higher most likely to make Final Four?
5) Team seeded 6 or higher most likely to make Final Four?
6) What 2nd round upset are you calling?
7) What non Big 12 team would you like to see win in all?
My answers
1) Syracuse -- scored 58 or less in 4 of last 7 games
2) Xavier
3) N Mexico St
4) Fla St
5) K-State --- believe this as seeds 6 and higher are weak imo. Fla would be my non-homer choice
6) Notre Dame over Duke
7) Michigan St -- like Izzo, love the way they play
-
2) Xavier
Xavier sucks and will not pull off an upset.
-
Hope you're right about 1 and 5. If you are, I'll call ESPN myself and tell them you should replace Lunardi.

7) What non Big 12 team would you like to see win in all?
My answers
1) Syracuse BARELY over Kentucky
2) Long Beach State, that schedule hardened this team for a potential tournament run
3) Belmont/Davidson -> both will win
4) Fla St
5) Murray State - they remind me of that St Josephs team that got beat in the elite 8 a while back...nobody took them serious either.
6) Iowa State/UCONN winner will give Kentucky all they can handle, but I'll say Cal/USF over Michigan
7) Vanderbilt because I didn't realize the fat guy from the office was such a good basketball coach

I picked Herb Pope to the Final Four.

1. Syracuse
2. NC State
3. Iona
4. Marquette
5. St. Mary's (sorry Beems)
6. K-State
7. Murray State - All the mid-majors would be overseeded for next year, making the bracket easier for us to go to the Final 4
-
1. Michigan St.
I love Izzo and respect the hell out the program he has built and they have a very solid team this year, BUT I'm not seeing a skilled and/or experienced backcourt there. Yes, it's important to have a complete team but if I there's 1 element I want at tourney time, it's high-level guards(emphasis on plural).
2. NC St. - They've got a solid core of top players in CJ Leslie, Lorenzo Brown, and Scott Wood and honestly, I don't think they have a very tough path, SD St and Georgetown just don't impress me a whole lot this year.
3. Iona
4. Florida
5. Florida(Is it against the rules to pick the same team twice? :dunno:)
6. Xavier over Duke
7. Florida St. - Goes against the "blue blood" network, helps out my bracket, and they have a McD's AA(Snaer) - fits the criteria
