Jake was other-worldly when we needed a basket.
-
My heart is like racing watching this.

We couldn't score 100 in 2 games this season. I miss offense.

Huh? Every time I watch this game and think of this team I wonder how we didn't win the whole thing.
Clemente, Pullen, Kelly, JamSam, Dom. I mean, my goodness.
-
They have the butler game on there too. And I'm watching it.

I thought about doing that. And then decided I didn't want to be depressed.

Great find Koug.
Still wish the refs would have called that foul at the end of regulation. Yet another call that has '98ed k-state.
-
CHRIS! WHAT THE eff ARE YOU DOING? WHAT THE eff ARE YOU DOING??

We won the game :dunno: And the talking point that playing another 10 minutes of basketball just physically destroyed us to the point that we couldn't beat Butler is dumb

Thank you for saying what needs to be said everytime this talking point comes up.

When they put Chris on the line. I like how Frank tells the ref "Oh you are gonna call that one but you won't call the one at midcourt when we are trying to foul." :shakesfist:

how do you two think talking points originate?
and in reality it was more like another 30 minutes of play. But the greater issue for me isn't they physical strain but the mental strain of dealing with that type of game where two heavyweights are just dropping haymakers on each other.

Squawk outed.
-
we were one of a lot of teams that thought they should've beaten butler that year

Butler beat us and we looked bad that game. Butler beats teams and makes them look bad. Thats what they did. Excuses like that are a huge disservice to a K-State team that played their asses off all year and especially in the torn-a-ment. If K-State wasn't mentally ready, it was their own damn fault. But I think they were, and they just got beat

We defended the crap out of Butler. They defended the crap out of us. Our guards missed shots and we turned it over. Simple as that. Butler was a really really good team.
