Honestly, if I didn't have to work, I'd probably be taking a nap anyways.
-
i mean, i honest to god don't even know if i'm going to be able to watch it. that was the only time out of the eight possible times that was not really probably feasible for me. :chainsaw:
-
suckitude
-
Will have the game on the picture box in the conference room at work! I work about 100 yards away from that room. :frown:

Fantastic. Re-enact the civil war early, power drink my way through the rest of the day w/ my collar popped and 'Cuse's name in my mouth.

take the day off JFC.
I can't take the day off to watch a basketball game.
I did purchase the March Madness Live thing, so hopefully I can watch it on my phone, or if I'm lucky, I'll have some down time and can watch it on the laptop while I multitask.
-
got rough ridin' truTV'd too
-
Is 11:40am on truTV the worst thing ever or what? :curse:
-
glad i took thurs/fri off but wish it was an afternoon game :(
-
i blame southern miss
-
If we lose, then I have to sit there for another 10 hrs watching the other games, gonna be freakin salty... just win.
-
i could take basically any day of work for the next year except for this thursday afternoon. may be able to get out to watch the game, but would have to go back in for a bit.
-
Wipe the sand out of your giners and sack up.
If you want to watch the game, you'll find a way.
-
well i mean you can't really blame them. they know that they can throw kstate on 1140 cst on trutv and still draw huge ratings. it's all about money fellas. doesn't mean we have to like it though.

Watching the Cats win so early on the first day is just going to make the first two days of the torn-a-ment even better.

yeah, you can enjoy a full 48 hours of hoops to the fullest.
-
Does this almost guarantee that we have the early game Saturday as well?

And who didn't plan ahead and already have Thurs/Fri off of work MONTHS ago?!?!
Sheesh.

I mean people are acting like 11:30 is early. I'll have 18 in with plenty of time to spare to watch the Cats.
-
OH MY GOD I love Kevin harlan. He called north Texas and byu if I'm not mistaken
-
You really need to question your life choices if you can't free yourself up to watch a rough ridin' basketball game. Guys in prison can probably arrange that.

the only thing that concerns me about the 11:40 time is that i believe that was the '93 tulane start time :ohno:

March Madness, overall, coincides with the end of a fiscal quarter.
March, June, September, and December are all bad months for me.

yep, found it after a few seconds of research. that was in orlando wasn't it? so it was like a home game for tulane... we got screwed!!!!
I don't remember the time though. When we lost to New Mexico I think that was a early afternoon game. Maybe a 2ish type game.

After we win Thursday, here are the slotted times i believe for Saturday
11:00, 1:30 and 4:00 ...... All CBS games. I would think we would be one of these 3
other time slots =
5:00, 6:00, 7:00 and 8:30 on TBS/TNT
6:30 on CBS

They might have to simulcast a Syracuse-KSU game on 2 networks.

Questions...
1. What time could you get off to watch?
2. Do you think you could go that long without finding out the score?
3. Do you have DVR?
-

Depends, obviously a prime time slot is favorable but I think the first time slot on Saturday is a stand alone game. The first two games in our pod are total dogs as far as national television goes, but a Syracuse/KSU second round game is ratings gold. In '10 we played UNT in an early session but Jimmer in prime time. The times for Saturday will be assigned on Thursday night.
-
eff this. I have 6 total exams this semester and 2 are on thursday, one in the early afternoon. :curse:

Just found out I have mandatory new employee orientation (eventhough I've been here a month) from 1-4, with an introductory lunch at noon with just myself, another new manager, a couple of directors, and our SVP at noon. I have already emailed the lady putting on the orientation to start the presentation off with a note on the 1st powerpoint slide:
"If you are checking your phones for NCAA tournament results, please refrain from discussing those results with others. There are individuals with strong interests with games in progress and they do not want to hear any spoilers. Those individuals thank you for your cooperation."
