i haven't spent a dime on a razor or blades in like 3 years.  i think the current blade has been on my m3 for, oh, i don't know, a year?  and yet my face is as smooth as a baby's bottom.

go to hell dollarshaveclub.

I sorta agree with Clams.  I tend to use a razor blade a long time, but I do this out of pure laziness and the revolting price of M3 razor blades.

I get fewer blemishes and hair folical (sp?) issues when I have a sharp blade.  I think if you have a new razor blade every week, their cheapest 2 blade model at $1 a month would be a great deal...two blades is fine if the rough rider is sharp as hell, isn't it?

PLUS, receiving that package every month is a good reminder to change your blade at least once a month.

The $1 a month version, doesn't include shipping.  Shipping is $2 per month.  So, it really makes me wonder if the $6 version isn't the way to go.  Twice the blades, but twice the cost.   :ohno:

You could do it for awhile and stock up.  OR, if you want to be a total badass and say screw the catridges, just get a legit shaving blade like what legit barber shavers use.  I think you should do that but, then again, I prefer to think of Pete as a total badass

Hmmmmm, now I am wondering if they can send me extra handles.  I need one for the travel bag, for mrs. pete so she will not steal from me, and one for the shower at home ( I shave in the shower with one of those mirrors that doesn't fog up very much).

If so, looks like the $6 version is the right pick for me (good for dude's faces and chicks body parts).

Getting stuff in the mail is fantastic also.  I love when I order something, forget, and then it arrives and I'm like "Oh yeah!  That thing I ordered!"  I could handle having that happen once a month.

Also signed up yesterday for the $6/month. I only go through a cartridge once every 2-3 weeks, so I think I'm going to stock up for several months and then cancel.

I can't grow hair anywhere practical.  Like top of head, or have a complete beard, or normal chest hair manlyness.  No I got to have patchy facial hair that needs to be shaven every day or I look like Joe Dirt.  Bald spot on crown of head, and 4 acre forehead.  Back hair is out of control!

Don't they give you a new handle anytime you switch plans?  Start on the one you want, switch to the shitty one for a minute, then switch back.

But I still vote for stubblebeard Pete.

One of the guys at Local Pig in Kansas City makes and sells the cream, haven't seen any blades for sale though. Seems like it would be hard to do.

I've been in the club since last July.  I'm on the $6/month plan and had to switch to getting blades every other month because I wasn't going through them that quickly.  The shave isn't as close as a Mach 3, but I've only nicked myself once, compared to the occasional scalping I'd get when I shaved my head with my Mach3.  I'm on my 3rd handle, though, which are about $5 to replace.

Yeah I stocked up on the $6 a month blades until I switched debit cards. Really haven't had any desire to update my payment information.

Plus now that lady 'meister is in kc, I don't have to shave more than like once a week.
