Title: Whistling
Post by: _33 on March 08, 2012, 10:52:08 AM
Whenever I start whistling without thinking about it, like if I'm working on something or whatever and I start whistling I always whistle the oompa loompa song for some reason. So weird. Thoughts?

My grandfather is good at whistling.  He can even do that thing where you stick two fingers in your mouth and make a really really loud whistle.  Kinda jealous of that skill but regular whistling, not so much.

When I hear a whistler...I just think to myself he  must be having a good day.  I associate whistling with being happy.

I whistle quite a bit subconsciously and I get a little embarrassed by it.

Just started a new job and have had 3 people tell me I'm a whistler.  I don't remember whistling once at this job, but I know I do it.

When I whistle, I whistle the tune that Uma Thurman whistles from Kill Bill.  I guess it's the theme to some british thriller movie from the 60s.

There was a cartoon thing done for my work group where we were all drawn as cartoon characters.  They drew my character walking tall carrying briefcase and whistling.  I think I'm perceived as a pretty happy person that's good at my job.  At least I hope I'm not perceived as some whistling assclown.

Ive been trying to get this down, but cant. I work in a manufacturing environment thats real loud and everybody (seriously, all employees) can whistle like mother fuckers. They do it to get another persons attention, and im falling behind damn it!

Sometimes I catch myself whistling while I'm walking. I always think I must look like this guy...(https://goemaw.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fstarcasm.net%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2011%2F01%2FHaters_Gonna_Hate.gif&hash=d724ebdf3d881dba5602d420482f90d53aac5ea8)

No clue why I randomly started whistling "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood" while on the elevator up to my room. #MrRogers
