Title: two doors
Post by: j rake on March 05, 2012, 04:05:00 PM: Let's say you are entering the building below, and someone else is a split-second behind. If you hold the door for them (and you should), do you let them pass you? Or are you also the first to the next door, too?

If you are, do you hold for them on the second door and let them pass you, or do you repeat what you did for the first door? :dunno:

Post by: Bloodfart on March 05, 2012, 04:56:08 PM: I always do the "pass the batton" method. Not much help but it makes me feel better about myself. Also you don't have to make any kind of social interaction and you usually get a thank you out of minimal effort.

When people don't say thank you I like to say "You're welcome!" really loudly and sarcastically. Trust me... it's loud enough and sarcastic enough that everyone anywhere in the vicinity understands what just went down.
