I really can't decided between Willie's and Houlihans.
Let's figure this out. On the one hand, Willie's is running hot (mizzou win). On the other, one of the best fatpaks ever was Okie State at Houlihans and fatty hung out at Houlihans quite a bit. Not sure here. I think fatty would say go to Willie's, but the Houli-pak is something he lived and cherished.
Tough call. Need guidance.

It's true. 5oz of the 128oz tower is liquor. Obviously, it's mostly filled with ice, but that's still a pretty terrible ratio.

I always worried about this too. Never been to a pak because I'm nice in real life and am sometimes mean on here or correct misspellings or junk and so I get nervous. Worried it'll be weird and that it won't go well. For instance, what do I do if I'm at Houlihans and I wanna go outside and roast a bone, and, like, I find myself roasting a bone with someone I've called 'tarded or who has called me 'tarded in the Dunning-Kruger Dome? Want to go to a pak sometime. Am nervous though.

IMO, pak'n is one of the main things that sets goEMAW apart. It is pretty fun, great way to watch a game because you know that everyone else will be just as into the game as you. I'm pretty excited to move back to MHK and hopefully integrate some of my more diehard nonbbsing friends to the goEMAW crew. But I will be sad to miss out on more SCK paks, MIR, Gooch and Trim are great dudes. Trim is very hospitable. Johnny Wichita is a cool dude and so is (????) <--- only know his real name.
I will say I was a little nervous the first time that Trim and Gooch stopped by to pick me up for a game last year. I had briefly met them only once after the NU game with Winters and a friend who was whining like a bitch the whole time. They were very pak'd and were recanting Trim's real life DNR (maybe was the other way around), then Gooch sees some dude in an NU jersey and starts yelling obscenities at him. It was a site to behold and pretty intimidating. Like I sad though, nearly everyone I've met at paks has all been really cool and not at all weird.

True Story
I have only Met Trim irl, and it was to pick up the Pak head to bring it to ChiCat at the Holiday in, I didn't know ChiCat's real name so I left it at the front desk of the Hotel and told the Girl working that I was dropping it off for "ChiCat" and that was pretty Embarrassing.
I don't know if I could handle a Pak or not.
The first time I met up with my car club I almost hit another car, and now I'm "that guy" so I will probably never live that down.

if you remember right, i actually ID'd you as fanning without you telling me you were fanning. it wasn't even a PAK, you were just at the bar and came up and started talking to a friend of mine. and i asked you if you were fanning. it was very surreal.

I ran into a guy on the street one afternoon in New Orleans who was wearing a K-State shirt. We started talking and I can't remember how, but we both instinctively made a goEMAW telekinetic connection and it turns out is was WeirdRobertsFoamFinger and Mrs. WRFF. Very unusual and random circumstances but it was a fun convo. Does this count as a 'Pak?

Yes. Although, I didn't realize you had ID'd me. That makes it even better now. My friends pregamed a lot that night. Still some grey moments of you, our friend, and the nice filly I was sitting next too.

I prob only initially agreed to pak because two people that I had know for a long time (Pete and lsoc) were going to be there and I knew I could count on pete to keep things lively and lsoc to sneak off with if anything got weird or uncomforable. it never did.
the average pakr likes to watch the kats, likes to drink and maybe eat while doing so and has the background knowledge of this board and different threads and maybe something funny that was said sometime. My first pak was meeting with Trim @ Willie's so he could give me a DVD of Qatz Vegas games (Huggins year). Was a bit awkward, mostly because I was out of my element. Then I kinda got into it when I stumbled into goEMAW legal formation pak

Also, some people are much more comfortable (and adept) at talking in BBS lingo, I will admit that I am not. I do admire in many ways those that are much better at using BBS lingo with real audible words; Stevesie and j-dub are two that come to mind that are very skilled at this. It might be that the younger generation of posters is better at this. :dunno:

At 11:30 winters, yes. If they go to willies, definitely. When I was a young pup i'd go down to the ville for cheap burgers and fries all the time. Just bring a flask like you always do and pour it into your soda.

Last I heard (Thanksgiving) it was still there but its days were numbered and they were gonna paint over it as soon as the construction worked its way up there. Luckily, I found the C-Hall of airports. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dg9yNcRpIHc&feature=youtu.be)
And as far as acting out emots at a pak goes, I also have been doing :sdeek: irl for a while now. If I ever go to a pak I'm gonna bring a bandana thingy in case I need to pull out this one :blindfold:
