I am stunned, saddened, shocked, devastated. I didn't post on KSU message boards other than GPC until I followed fatty over to kstatefans.com and then over here. Each time I logged in I started looking for his posts. This really hurts and I feel so badly for his family and friends. I never got a chance to meet him in person though we discussed it a few times....he made you feel like you had a friend in the guy.
Fatty and I loved to troll hornfans.com, tigerboard, texags, and a few others. It was all just harmless fun for KSU sports fans enthusiasts. They seemed to give him a much warmer reception than I...which was appropriate.
This and other sports message boards will never be the same for me.
RIP Fatty...you were truly loved.

You were his favorite message board poster. He looked up to you. Continue to do your personal best Manhatter, fatty would expect nothing less.

Same for me on kstatefans. I had to tell him to put all his videos on stage6. Was much better than youtube at the time. The thought of what his family and close friends are going through is painful to just think about.

I appreciate you sharing that. It's an honor. The admiration was mutual. I noticed he wasn't posting as much in the past months and I felt a bit unfulfilled because of it. The void, now, will be permanent.
It sounds almost weird to say but at a time like this you really struggle to make any sense but it's like a hero dying for the KSU online community. I mean how many people shed a few tears over some of his videos or laughed hysterically. Heck, I couldn't see dippin' dots without thinking of him.
He was such a master of being amongst the enemies yet they still liked him...something I certainly could never pull off. It seems fitting to know that he was selflessly aiding his brother. He always came across as having a huge heart.

Yep.
When I first started looking at the boards it was always "Hatter and Fatty."
Glad we have Hatter on this board.

When I first started, hatter still had the "has seen the bullets fly" tag on phog.

I had to read shaggybevo. Many references made about Jordy Nelson. That was so much fun. Fatty and I stormed their board talking about how this, then unknown, ks white boy was going to destroy them. We were being sarcastic. FATTY even concocted a still video game image of Jordy destroying a horns defensive back. As fate would have it, Jordy did school UT and homage has been paid since. It was not even meant to be serious...then Jordy blew up as a player and a happy accident happened.
It was beautiful!!

I'm pretty sure Fatty is the reason for me being over here as well. I remember being on the Cat Tracker board and calling him sock. He schooled me every chance he got. Put me in my place and made me look like a jackass. Of course I was stupid for it but guess what, I respected him and loved his style. Ever since then I have followed him and what he posted. Damn, I'm going to miss him.

I feel that he is the reason that we are all here. From the way that everyone talks about him, he is the reason for bbs being the way that it is.

I'm pretty sure that fatty is at least 75% of the reason/need for rebel bbs's

I came over here to check it out. I stayed because of fff. Legendary.

Fatty always found a way in his posts and videos to evoke all the fond memories I had of attending games as a kid during the DoD and living in Manhattan, and remind me of why I love following Kstate athletics and the University. I actually go to school at KU, and the KSU message board community and togetherness fatty has created here amidst the massive amounts of cynicism has provided me with an outlet I know that will always cheer me up whenever the chips are down. I know it may be considered 'tuckish' by some, but fatty made me realize that Kstate is really about friends and family, and athletics is just one of the ways through which they are tied together. For me, personally, this is how fatty's legacy will live on.

I remember, back in the day, how he was reviled on GoPowercat by the old person mafioso over there.
Further proof that those people were just too stupid to consort with, and he was an innovative poster that needed a lot of open "green space" to practice his magic. He was an unconventional thinker for an unconventional medium. The mark of a true genius.
