Is Kansas State University responsible for the current conference changes?
Seeing high quality teams like WVU beg (and pay $11 million) to play with us after we completely destroy MU and ATM (as they pay huge fees just to run away from us and the humiliations we hand them) in every sport makes me wonder if they were running from KSU?
We have simply dominated both. That much is stipulated.
Are we TOO good? Do we need to throw a game like we did at UT this year to keep CTR going?
Just wondering, I'd hate to chase off any more confy opponents.
Do we need to throw that game at College Station just to convince everyone that this isn't a one school conference?

yes
yes

no
NO

I think if we win in College Station, then it makes it obvious to the rest of the Big 12 that we've been throwing a game their way every once in a while. It let's everyone know that if you stay in the conference, we'll let you win. If not, then we'll chew your face off.

If this is true then what is taking Tejas so long to bolt for PAC12? :dunno:

Has Neinas (and Dodds) asked us to just take of these guys for them? I am worried our AD is getting mixed messages as to when we should "release the hounds" so to speak.
I hate that we are the United States of this conference. The "conference's police" always doing the dirty work.

well, thats why Frank threw the game in Austin. He knew winning would hurt us in the long run

And there will be a point, if we continue to dominate them, they will run too. Kudos to Frank.

Mack and Deloss have too much pride to turn tail and run from EMAW on a losing streak, pretty much the only reason the Pac 16 is not a reality today. Honorable men, the both of them.

I think the damage has been done, time to start a committee to look at going independent so we dont have to worry about conference politics anymore.
