Title: What fanning learned at church
Post by: 420seriouscat69 on February 19, 2012, 11:24:49 AM
Amazing stuff today guys. You can do a ton of horrible things in life, get baptized, and your slate is clean. Man, let the games begin. I'm putting together a list. Joe Davis and KansasCitySportsFan are at the top of that list.  :emawkid:

Yeah, that's why being Catholic rules.  I can do whatever the eff I want as long as I hit up some confession every once in a while.

Sorry to spoil your fun, but if you aren't making a conscious effort to stop sinning, then the confession is null and void.

Literally the opposite of what it says in the Bible.

Something is not a sin if you did not know it was a sin.  So just claim ignorance.  :crossfingers:

Also, when you are drunk, anything you do is not a sin.  Cause you are impaired, so just stay drunk all the time.   :drink:

Do you guys really want me to defend my post?

Like bloodfart says, if you stay ignorant its not a sin either! (this is also wrong btw)

It's too late for that now bloodfart!  I did really enjoy that post, though.

Quote from: Catecism of the Catholic Church
IV. Interior Penance

1430 Jesus' call to conversion and penance, like that of the prophets before him, does not aim first at outward works, "sackcloth and ashes," fasting and mortification, but at the conversion of the heart, interior conversion. Without this, such penances remain sterile and false; however, interior conversion urges expression in visible signs, gestures and works of penance.23

I like what you're saying, but it's people like you that cost me BJ's for the rest of my life.  Atleast the good kind.  Someone told my wife about the whole "man shall not go around spilling his seed."

Life has not been the same since.

Tell your wife she can give you a BJ, but when you "spill your seed" is has to be with your P in her V.

EDIT: Unless that's what your "at least the good ones" phrase was about. Then I can't help you out brother.

Odd that you went with  the more clinical P and V.  I generally go with D and P.

Swiftcat, serious question..

Do you find it difficult to conduct yourself on goEMAW/as a sports fan in general with a good conscience?

I definitely have difficulties at times..

Not really? I mean, for the most part, everything I say on here is meant to be a joke, it's not meant to offending anyone.
