Was in Huntington Beach last year and these were everywhere.  Stopped to see why everyone was wearing one:

Me:  What are these things?

SnakeOilSalesman (SOS):  Power Bands - gives you more core strength, better balance.

Me;  How?

SOS:  Algorithms

Me:  What?

SOS:  It's got algorithms embedded in this chip in the rubber?

Me:  What do you mean embedded?

Me:  Well what are the algorithms computing?  What's powering them?

What people don't realize is that the more you wear of them the more effect you feel. If you wear just one you probably won't even notice, so that's where people get confused. I'm wearing 16 of them right now and I can basically balance without even thinking about it.

LOL at this guy banging that white house party crasher bitch.  I do have to admit that I saw Journey with their new lead singer Charlie Perry and they were incredible.  Think the whole group was wearing those rubber bracelet thingys that are supposed to improve your core strength..
